Overview

If swimming is your jam, you've got a bit of everything at this hotel. A classic pool for dunking into - and it's open from 7 'til 9. The beach is right on your doorstep if you prefer a dip in the sea, and you're only a half-hour drive away from Columbia Pictures Aquaverse - a movie-themed waterpark PACKED with rides (and tickets actually don't cost an arm and a leg!). But, even if that's not tickling your pickle, here's something that might: there's a café here called Pastry Addiction, which serves up afternoon tea and some of the most aesthetic ice cream cones you've ever seen. Your Insta feed's about to pop off.

• Pastry Addiction - don't be fooled by the name, because there's more than just pastries here (although we're not sure why you'd need more than pastries). From Eggs Benedict with a California twist to loaded ice cream cones and afternoon tea, this place serves the goods from 9 'til 11pm!

• October Sky - a light and airy restaurant by the beach, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The por pia lab moo is what dreams are made of. Don't worry, it's got nothing to do with labs or cows. It's actually just spicy minced-pork spring rolls. Delish.

• Lobby bar - a swanky lounge bar open from 10 'til 10, with a range of signature cocktails to try

• Outdoor pool deck - the perfect place to cool off with a swim or stretch out on a lounger with your latest holiday read

• Fitness centre - decked out with treadmills, elliptical machines and dumbbell racks (whatever any of that stuff is - we're usually too busy sunbathing)
