Holidays from Dublin Airport

Holidays from Dublin Airport
Did you know that Dublin has one of the fastest-growing populations of any city in the world? Every year it's Dublin! Ok - sorry, but we couldn't resist. The Irish are known around the world for their sense of humour, or as they call it - the craic, but they're not known for their weather. So, if you're not impressed by our jokes, you should be impressed by our amaaazing package deals on beach holidays. We put the vitamin D in Dublin!
Why choose Dublin Airport?
Dublin Airport is the most popular airport in Ireland. Last year it served more than 33 million passengers, whisking them away to hundreds of different destinations around the world. It operates 364 days a year (every day except Christmas) so it might not help you get out of Christmas dinner with Uncle Nigel, but on any other day of the year, there's a flight with your name on it. Just don't forget your flip-flops.
Direct flights from Dublin Airport
You'll be spoilt for choice. We can pop you on direct flights straight from Dublin to Tenerife, Dublin to Lanzarote - or any of the Canaries for that matter! Not to mention a range of sunny spots in mainland Spain (Costa del Sol, Costa Brava, Costa Blanca), Turkey, Portugal, or a range of other destinations (click here for our full list).
Dublin Airport information
Dublin Airport is only 10km north of the city centre, so you could jog there from the Leprechaun museum in about an hour, though you might not want to do that with your suitcases! More convenient ways of getting to the airport include taxis, buses, or a variety of car-parking options for those who prefer to be their own chauffeurs.
If you do find yourself in Dublin for a moment before heading to the airport, you have to try the pizza at Bambino's! Hot honey! OMG!
If you missed out on Bambinos and wanna eat at the airport, there are plenty of amazing restaurants and cafes as well as a full suite of shops selling everything from a holiday novel to an artisanal Irish rug.
Cafes, Bars & Restaurants: There's a full choice of eateries serving everything from burgers to burritos. If you're flying in the morning (or even late at night but just don't want to snore on the plane), there's also a fantastic range of speciality cafes, including Bluebird and Cloud Picker and, as you would expect at Dublin airport, there's no shortage of bars if you fancy a cheeky tipple to get you into the holiday mood.
Shopping: Whether you need to pick up an extra bottle of suncream, another pair of swimmers, or a whole new outfit, Dublin Airport has a range of shops to rival most high streets. Perfumes and alcohol are available in duty-free, and once your airport duties are done, you can sit back and relax with a pint of the black stuff in the Guinness bar!
Lounges: For our swankier customers who can't bear to slum it with the rest of us, there are 4 lounges available at Dublin airport. The T1 lounge is located in Terminal 1 (who would have guessed?) The Liffey Lounge in Terminal 2. The Martello lounge is situated in the corridor that connects the two terminals, and the final lounge, 51st and Green, is only available for passengers who are flying to the US. For those of us who don't already have lounge access, tickets can be pre-booked online through the Dublin airport webpage.
Free Wi-Fi: Dublin airport offers free Wi-Fi throughout, so you can download films, TV shows, and true crime podcasts, to enjoy on your flight. Not to mention posting your before and after pictures at the airport to show off that tan!
