Price Drop Protection

1. Promoter: This promotion is offered by On the Beach Limited (trading as On the Beach Ireland), whose registered office is 5 Adair Street, Manchester, M1 2NQ (“OTB”). By participating in the promotion, you shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.  

2. How it works: If you make a Qualifying Booking (as set out below) and the total price of the Same Holiday (as set out below) offered by OTB drops between the date of booking and 60 days prior to the departure date of the Qualifying Booking, you can claim the difference in price.  

3. Campaign Period: This promotion is valid for Qualifying Bookings (as set out below) made from 00:01 Thursday 27th February 2025. 

4. Eligibility 

• To participate in the promotion: 

  • you must be aged 18 or over and be a resident of the Republic of Ireland;  

  • make a Qualifying Booking. A “Qualifying Booking” means a booking that meets all of the following requirements:  

    • a package holiday (including flights and accommodation) for any star rating and board basis booked via the OTB Ireland website (www.onthebeach.ie) ;  

    • holiday must be booked from 00:01 Thursday 27th February 2025.  

    • holiday must depart and be completed between 00:01 1st May 2025 and 23:59 31st October 2025 (inclusive) (“Travel Window”);  

    • the booking is up to date with payments and remains active; and  

    • does not fall within one of the exclusions as set out at paragraph 6.  

5. Same Holiday  

• The “Same Holiday” means a holiday that: 

  • is publicly available on the OTB Ireland website (www.onthebeach.ie)  (price differences against package holidays provided by other holiday companies or travel agents (including holidays booked on www.sunshine.co.uk and www.onthebeach.co.uk are excluded); 

  • includes the same flights (airline, airports, dates and times) as the Qualifying Booking;  

  • includes the same accommodation at the same resort/hotel and on the same board basis and room type as the Qualifying Booking; 

  • includes the same number and ages of customers as the Qualifying Booking; 

  • if included in the Qualifying Booking, the same type of transfers as the Qualifying Booking (i.e. shared or private transfers); and 

  • if included in the Qualifying Booking, the same baggage as the Qualifying Booking (whether that is a checked-in hold luggage, large cabin bag or small cabin bag).  

6. Exclusions / Restrictions 

• Price differences resulting from changes in taxes, fees, or charges imposed by airlines, governments, or other authorities are excluded. 

• Price differences resulting from promo codes, exclusive discounts, or loyalty rewards are excluded. 

• If you cancel the Qualifying Booking, you will not be eligible to participate in this promotion.  

• If you amend the Qualifying Booking, any price difference claimed must be made against the original Qualifying Booking prior to any amendments.  

• Package holidays booked on www.sunshine.co.uk  and www.onthebeach.co.uk are excluded. 

7. How to Claim 

• You must make a claim by visiting www.onthebeach.ie/holidays/pricewatch/price-drop-protection and clicking the ‘Submit a claim’ button. There will be a webform which must be completed with the following details: 

  • Name and email address used when making the Qualifying Booking; 

  • MYB Number for the Qualifying Booking.  

  • A screen print / quote from the OTB website which shows the Same Holiday at a cheaper price than the Qualifying Booking. As set out in the Same Holiday requirements, the screen print / quote must match the Qualifying Booking including, without limitation, identical travel dates, airline flight times, room types and extras. 

  • Any screen print / quote must clearly display a date and time stamp.  

  • Confirmation that the screen print / quote submitted is a like for like comparison to the Qualifying Booking.  

• Claims must be submitted within 7 days of identifying the Same Holiday at a reduced price.  

• Only the lead booker named on the Qualifying Booking can submit the claim.  

• Only 1 successful claim can be submitted per Qualifying Booking. Multiple claims following a successful claim will not be accepted. If the claim is unsuccessful then another claim can be submitted. 

8. Credit Voucher  

• We will review the claim within 7 days of receipt and if we accept it, we will issue a Credit Voucher within 28 days of submission.  

• The lead booker will be notified via the email address provided on the Qualifying Booking that their Credit Voucher has been issued and the value of that voucher.  

• The Credit Voucher can be redeemed against any future OTB package holiday booked online at www.onthebeach.ie  (including flights and accommodation).   

• The Credit Voucher cannot be used as a deposit on the future booking but can be used on any payments after that. 

• The lead booker will be required to follow the instructions in the claim email in order to redeem their Credit Voucher. 

• Credit Vouchers will not be processed automatically. Customers are responsible for submitting their claim. 

• Credit Vouchers will expire 12 months after being issued. Credit voucher must be redeemed in full before the expiry date; partial use is not permitted. 

• Credit Vouchers are non-transferable, has no cash alternative, and may only be used by the recipient using the same email address to which it was originally issued. OTB reserves the right to cancel and reclaim the value of any credit voucher for breach of these terms including, without limitation, where the credit voucher is transferred. 

• OTB are not responsible for vouchers that are lost, stolen, deleted, or used without permission.

• OTB reserves the right to amend, hold void, suspend or withdraw this promotion at any time without notice. 

• OTB will keep customers up to date on any likely closing date, and any actual closing date for the promotion, on the website at www.onthebeach.ie/holidays/pricewatch/price-drop-protection  

• This promotion is subject to availability and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.  

• OTB will decide in its sole discretion whether a customer has already received the offer under this promotion and OTB’s decision is final.  

• No cash equivalent or other alternative will be given if the customer chooses not to take up this promotion.  

• Any improper use (fraudulent or otherwise) of this promotion may result in the Qualifying Booking being cancelled/credit being cancelled with no refund issued.  

• Subject to the below paragraph, OTB shall not be liable for any loss you suffer howsoever arising from the provision (or non-provision) or use of this promotion. 

• Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit the liability of OTB (i) in relation to personal injury or death caused by OTB’s negligence or (ii) in respect of its obligations under applicable legislation. 

• Each Qualifying Holiday is subject to OTB’s terms and conditions which can be found at https://www.onthebeach.ie/terms-and-conditions  (“Terms and Conditions”) and the terms and conditions of third party suppliers providing the travel arrangements included in the Qualifying Holiday (such as accommodation providers and airlines). 

• Any optional purchases or supplements are subject to the Terms and Conditions. Any changes to a Qualifying Holiday after booking are subject to amendment fees as detailed in the Terms and Conditions. 

• The customer and their travel companions are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport and any necessary visa to travel, hold all adequate travel insurance policies, and comply with any other terms and conditions applicable to this offer. 

• Any amounts payable locally such as resort fees, tourist and/or other taxes will be the responsibility of the customer and their travel companions. 

• The personal data you provide will be processed in accordance with OTB’s privacy policy: www.onthebeach.ie/privacy OTB will use the personal information provided by you for the purposes of administering the promotion and providing the Qualifying Booking. 

• These terms and conditions (and any issues or disputes arising) shall be governed by the law of England and Wales law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. If you live in Ireland, you may choose to bring a claim in the courts of Ireland.
