Ahhh, that top-tier feeling. Fresh out the pool. Slurping an ice-cold mojito on your sun lounger. Drying off in the sun. Nothing could break such a moment of pure bliss. Except...kids. Now, hear us out - we've got nothing against the little cuties, or against family holidays for that matter. But sometimes you just wanna kick back without thumping pool-splashes and high-pitched squeals in earshot. A romantic meal without so much as a whiff of chicken nuggets. Poolside drinks just you and your besties, listening to something more sophisticated than "baby shark" (ok fine, Lilly Allen isn't much more sophisticated, but... it'll do). We're talking adults only holidays with the very best of vibes.

We sell adult-only hotels all over the shop, because we're good like that. Coupling up for a boujee break? Group of friends jetting off to Ibiza to dance the night away on a party holibobs? Well, pack your comfiest Crocs, because wherever you're going, we've got you covered. We've got adult-only all inclusive holidays to tickle your pickle like never before. Let's go.

FAQs

What destinations are great for an Adult Only break?

For pure romance, Santorini is in a league of its own - caldera sunsets, clifftop dining, and hotels that are basically designed for proposals. Crete is brilliant if you want the Greek island magic with more to do (beach by day, proper taverna by night). The Canaries work year-round and are especially good for winter sun escapes. Tenerife and Lanzarote both have gorgeous adults-only hotels with spas and rooftop pools. In the Balearics, Majorca delivers luxury and beach in one, while Menorca is perfect if you want something quieter and more intimate. If you're thinking of a city break, then Rome is where it's at for all things cobbled lane strolls and Trevi Fountain photo-ops. And if you want the ultimate bucket-list trip? The Maldives - overwater villas, private plunge pools, and that "is this real life?" feeling.

What time of year is best to travel on an Adult Only holiday?

Heading to an Adult Only hotel may mean that there’ll be no kids around the pool but that doesn’t mean that exploring the destination will be as peaceful. Avoiding school summer holidays is one way to guarantee there will be fewer children and fewer crowds on your holiday. Did we mention that it’s also usually cheaper, too? April or September can be a great choice for a quiet holiday too, as it usually sits just outside of the holiday season.

What kind of facilities can I find at an Adult Only hotel?

Adult Only hotels can vary drastically, so it’s always best to think of the type of holiday that suits you. Some Adult Only hotels offer basic accommodations with a lively pool area and choice of bars whilst others can offer five-star gourmet dining and relaxing on-site spas.

What does it mean when a hotel is Adult Only?

It means the hotel doesn't allow children - usually 18+, though some are 16+ or 21+. What that translates to in practice: quieter pools, no kids' menus at the buffet, no mini disco at 9pm when you're trying to have a romantic dinner. The atmosphere at adults-only hotels tends to be more relaxed and grown-up, with spas, cocktail bars and evening entertainment geared towards people who don't need a babysitter. Perfect for couples who want to properly switch off. Check the age limit on each hotel's page before booking, as they do vary.

What does Adult Only All Inclusive mean?

Adults-only all-inclusive is the same as a standard all-inclusive holiday just without the kids. Drinks, food and regular entertainment included whilst having a nice relaxing time under the scorching sun? Ideal. We know.

Our Top Tip!

Make sure to check out the reviews for your chosen hotel before you book. Now, this may sound pretty obvious (and it kind of is) but checking out the kind of people that stay at that hotel can really help to make your decision with an Adult Only hotel. Whilst many hotels will list facilities, some might not state if they are popular with an older crowd/lively party crowd/naturists. And believe us, they are very different vibes!
