Aphrodite Apartments

Once again at the Aphrodite Apts lovely 2 week holiday. Family run resort with lovely gardens and pool, The cleaner was around nearly every day to tidy up things. The breakfast was so good I had it nearly every day,( Burp). To say this place is in Laganas is not its a 1.4 kilometre walk from in a place called Agrilia. Already booked for May for 2 weeks. Have a good break the Spirros family.

Advertised by jet2 as 2 outdoor pools, there is only one with a small paddling pool to the side for little ones. My visit the hotel was extremely quiet and peaceful, only spoilt a couple of times with folk who obviously left their headphones at home. 
The family run hotel has an adequate bar and menu. Which suited us. 
Could do with some basic maintenance especially in the bathroom area. Limescale taps and worn chrome, shower attachments which kept falling down. No shower curtains or screen so water everywhere. Bathroom window screen covered in bugs and mold. 

Peaceful 

Just back from a week at the Aphrodite Apts/Studios. The family that run this place are very friendly and always pleasant. Chris and Maria are the son and daughter who run most of it but Mum and Dad are always around.The room we were in could be doing with upgrades but it was cleaned every day.The only thing that spoiled it for us was the mosquitoes as they were in full flow and biting every day of our week. The bar food and drinks we’re excellent and great prices.If you want a very nice quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day then this is it.Thank you to the Spiros family.

Full marks isn’t enough for these apartments. Me and mum have stayed here for five times now and we love it! We will definitely be back again (hopefully next year)!

Spyros, his wife, Christos and Maria are all amazing and are always so friendly and can’t do enough for you, nothing is ever too much hassle. I am 36 and mum is 63 and we have met in with so many lovely, nice people that keep coming back to these same apartments also (that says it all really). The pool and rooms are maintained to a high standard, cleaners are lovely and friendly also.

The shop Agrillia opposite can be more expensive, I would advise walking to the left (past Yakinthos hotel) and the shop Margarita on your right is cheaper and the husband and wife are lovely and friendly (shop is smaller than Agrillia). It is a 25 minute walk to the Laganas strip/Beach or a €10 taxi.

Restaurants we highly recommend in Laganas are: Greco’s, Panos, Cool Peppers and Bonanza and for a treat from home the Orient Garden Chinese. For those after a Sunday roast we got ours at Must Sports bar and they do beef, chicken or lamb.

Restaurants we would recommend in Kalamaki (next town over €15 taxi) are: Zakinthi, Vinaz, Iguana and Michaelo’s.

Our fave beach bar in Laganas was El Paradiso. The staff are so friendly and reserved us beach sunbeds or pool sunbeds whenever we wanted and the food was delicious!

We hope to be back again next year!
