This has been the best hotel we have stayed in on this trip which is 16 days old. The receptionist, breakfast staff room all first class.The only downside if you are walking  a little difficult walking to the city and back on the narrow roads.  If you are lazy it is only 5 Euros or less on Bolt to travel back and forth from the old town to the hotel.

Suprise Gem

The hotel is fantastic and the service was amazing. The staff was so knowlegeable about Zadar and so helpful. I arrived solo without much planned and they had so many recommendations!

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of veggie options.

The room was big, clean and modern with a lovely private balcony.

Amazing

Great hotel. Really friendly owners and staff. The hotel is really clean and is presented to a high standard. Comfortable beds and pillows, good WiFi, large tv, has excellent air-conditioning and shower. The large pool and area is quiet and sun loungers are again comfortable, breakfast has a large choice of hot/cold food and the staff will cook you eggs as you like. 

The old town of Zadar was a 30 minute walk down the hill and a 40 minute walk back up after dinner. (For us). We found it a nice walk although it was cool at night (September) so might be a different story when in the middle of the summer.

There is also a decent shop and a bar located 2 mins away from the hotel. Although we didn’t hire a car the hotel has off street parking and there were always spaces available. 

We found the bolt app a better taxi option in Zadar and from the airport.

Great value hotel

I’ve got mixed reviews on this place
Reading others most people said how friendly it was
We arrived and were not greeted with an hello but a “you’re early”  which I thought was very rude
We were told to come back in 2 hours and when I asked if I could buy a water I was told to go to the shop, so for us not friendly at all.
The hotel itself is nice the rooms are good, breakfast is lovely with plenty to choose from. 
The walk to old town (where all restaurants and bars are)is over 2 miles which is fine downhill but not great on way back and it was 10 euros each way for taxi it’s not a nice walk either not a great area
The pool is small but pleasant but you can never relax even if nobody else is there as the owner lives at the hotel on the bottom floor and his children are outside playing most of the time. In the early mornings you hear chairs moving about down there too which is annoying.
