Overview

In a prime position right by Costa Teguise’s northernmost bay, the Sands Beach boasts one of the most idyllic settings in all of Lanzarote. Boasting a spectacular private lagoon – complete with its own island and powder-soft beach – this unique property is ideal for a get-away-from-it-all style break, with the benefit of being just 15 minutes’ walk from the resort centre.

The hotel is by its own private beach. There is also direct access to the promenade and public Los Chaicas beach.

Rooms

The property offers a wide range of accommodation to suit all party sizes and budgets, from compact Studios to super-spacious Two Bedroom Apartments. Whichever you choose, your room will feature a bathroom with a bath or walk-in shower, along with a fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, hob, dishwasher, tea/coffee making facilities, toaster, microwave and fridge-freezer. Further facilities include a satellite TV, hairdryer and a furnished balcony or terrace, with a housekeeping service offered daily. Please note that Studio rooms are bungalow-style, and offer limited views.

Fancy making the most of the resort's glorious golden sands? There's also a choice of gorgeous Superior Beachfront accommodation, presented in One Bedroom and Two Bedroom styles. Just steps away from the shoreline, they're perfect for the beach-lover in your life, and boast fabulous views from their private terraces.

Food & Drink

The property’s main buffet restaurant, La Hacienda, is open 7.30 to 10.30am and from 6.30 to 9.30pm offers local and international dishes with a Mediterranean flair, including live show cooking for breakfast and dinner. Plus, for lunch on the lagoon, the Mai Tai pool bar dishes up a range of sizzling grills and fresh salads – and the Lido restaurant’s seafront terrace is a stunning spot to savour a romantic meal for two. Self-Catering, Bed & Breakfast board and Half Board are available for guests.

Sports & Entertainment

As well as an incredible 12 swimming pools - seven for adults and five for children - the Sands offers a choice of furnished sun terraces, perfect for soaking up some Lanzarote sun. If dry land is more your style, there’s a huge range of sports facilities on offer, including a well-equipped gym, tennis court and bicycle hire – you will also find a slice of paradise in the hotel’s health and wellness centre, which includes a range of beauty treatments and physiotherapy. Plus, for little ones, there’s the friendly 'Buddy's Club' (for ages 4-12), along with a playground and mini disco – and there’s daytime and evening entertainment, featuring mini discos, bingo and DJ sessions for the whole family to enjoy. Watersports are available at the lagoon and include kayaks and paddleboards.

To keep connected, Wi-Fi access is offered absolutely free in the Soleil and Mai Tai bar, and is available elsewhere in the complex for a local supplement.
