Turkey hotels are known for being packed to the brim with value. All-day food (literally - Google 'midnight soup'), non-stop activities, and waterparks *actually* worth shouting about. Stuff to keep you, the kids and even the grandparents happy - all under one roof. That's the dream, folks.

It's exactly what it sounds like: a holiday where everything's included. Your food, your drinks, your entertainment - all in the total price when you book. Pretty great, right?

In a word: YES. If you like to stay on site and fill your boots with drinks and grub at the hotel, then it's totally worth it. You can take full advantage of the buffet, plus snacks in between to really save the pennies. Some hotels even include unlimited ice cream for the kids (and you, let's be honest). Plus, you get a whole bunch of activities to try included in the price too. Join in with the aqua aerobics, challenge your mates to a game of beach volleyball or send the kids to an action-packed kids' club - and if that's not worth it, we don't know what is.

Programmes can vary from hotel to hotel, but most of the time some form of alcoholic drinks will be included - and you can even upgrade to premium packages sometimes for all the branded beers and spirits and a slight extra cost. One of the beautiful things about all-inclusive is you genuinely don't need much at all - your food, drinks and entertainment are sorted. That said, we'd suggest budgeting around €25-35 per person per day for bits like excursions, tips, souvenirs, and the odd drink or snack outside the resort if you fancy exploring. If you're planning day trips (boat tours, waterparks, historical sites), budget extra for those - anywhere from €35-95 per person depending on what you're doing. For a week-long family holiday, €240-480 total spending money is usually plenty. Couples might get away with even less if you're happy staying put at the resort.
