Overview

When it comes to luxury hotels, this place is the real deal, with restaurants that'll have your taste buds doing one big happy dance, a pool just begging to be dunked into (and begging to be posted on your Insta feed), and the beach right on your doorstep, so you can get that sand-between-your-toes feeling in, like, two seconds flat. Don't even get us started on the infinity pool (yeah, it's got one of those too), and the inflatable activity course at the beach. It's giving Total Wipeout, and we're totally here for it.

Location

  • Couldn't be more on the beach if it tried

  • This hotel isn't technically in Dubai, but Dubai International Airport is your nearest airport, just over 1 hour and 30 minutes away by car

Rooms

  • Take your pick from a range of lavish rooms and suites, all decked out with super-comfy beds and a sleek monochrome style

  • Every room has...

    • FREE Wi-Fi (because those holiday pics aren't gonna share themselves)

    • 42" flat-screen TV

    • Safety deposit box

    • Tea and coffee facilities

    • 24-hour room service available

Food & Drink

  • Canvas - delicious food in a market-style setting, with show-kitchens, display tables and juice gondolas

  • The Copper Lobster - sea grill restaurant open for dinner, with a daily-changing menu depending on the freshest catches

  • Lava Dining - no, you won't be eating inside a volcano, but you will be filling your boots with tasty 'MediterrAsian' specials, with a drool-worth selection of pastas, pizzas, burgers and sushi

  • Arena Sports Bar & Kitchen - catch the latest match while snacking on some tasty grub and downing your drink of choice

  • Iammai - a poolside lounge and bar serving light bites and cocktails

  • Arteasan - see what they did there? This place is a cross between an art gallery and a tea room, which of course, us Brits are all about

Sports & Entertainment

  • Outdoor pool - surrounded with sun loungers so you can sunbathe, swim and snack to your heart's content. Sounds like heaven if you ask us.

  • Little Sailors Kids' Club - the kiddos (aged 4-8) will have a whale of a time at this nifty little kids' club, with an outdoor playground, arts and craft sessions, face-painting, movie screenings and even a mini indoor rock-climbing wall!

  • Inflatable beach course - if the kids are a bit too cool for the kids' club, then this might be more up their street - with inflatable obstacles that'll keep them plenty entertained

  • Tons of activities - this hotel's got a bit of everything, from paddle-boarding and kayaking to yoga, aqua bounce (we're not even sure what that is, but count us in), spin cycle classes and loads of local stuff like jogging trails and mountain bike tours

  • Spa - treat yourself to a pamper sesh in one of the VIP rooms, whisk your other half off to the couples' relaxation lounge (it's not as dodgy as it sounds), or relax with a cheeky trip to the sauna

  • Fitness centre - we know what you're thinking, but we have to include it because apparently there are actually people out there who exercise on their jollies. This one's for you guys.

  • Bar
  • Buffet Restaurant
  • By the Beach
  • Cafe/ Snack Bar
