Just spent a week at the Turgay. All in all quite a nice little place. The bed & pillows were really comfortable which is a bonus! The room is a wee bit small but ok. Our balcony was at the back overlooking other houses. So no sun. The shower only has one glass panel so you have to stand in a small space or water will go all over the bathroom! The pool was lovely & the sunbeds ok. 
We stayed bed & breakfast which was good & plenty of choice. 
The only 2 downsides were there wasn't a kettle to make your own drinks & being woken up at 5 every morning by the morning call to prayer from the mosque which is very close. But apart from that it was quiet. No loud music blasting out which you find in a lot of places in Turkey.

Pretty little hotel

We spent 2 weeks here and had an amazing time. It was very well cleaned and the staff were fantastic. Other guests were friendly and that's what I enjoyed most about the stay. I love visiting calis and would definitely stay at Tugay again. The staff were very accommodating when it came to requests and quick to problem solve to make this a comfortable stay. Before going some reviews had me worried but then again If you want a five star hotel then there are other options. Tugay was more than reasonable for the price paid and I would be happy to go again. The biggest challenge was not being allowed to take your own food and drink in so it just means eating out each night but meals were reasonable. I liked that you did not fight for sunbeds or pool space. One of the best pools I have used- very clean. I loved the cats on site too - was a treat for animal lovers. Can't wait to stay again.

Tugay five by five

The earlier bad reviews are true in every respect. I will start with the positive, we met many lovely people who we bonded with as we were disgusted with the standard of this hotel. The poor cleanliness, the broken dirty sun loungers and overgrown pool patio area with stray cats was very uncomfortable to sit at. The staff with the exception of Tarkam were very lazy and unfriendly. At the pool the Turkish children had no supervision and enjoyed hitting us with footballs, waterguns and advocados that fell from the trees overlooking the pool. The pool was closed one day when a British child discovered poo at the bottom of it, we were so grateful he made this discovery! If you are asking yourself how can it be so bad? Trust me it can.

3rd Stay here it's a Budget Hotel but we have never had a problem.....we opted for a large attic room this year which was very roomy ....cleaned most days towels sheets changed every second day.....basic breakfast 10 min walk to beach front bars etc .....I know there were complaints when we were there about doors banging but people come at all hours and it's hard not to bang the door.....only at the Pool end of day as beach is so close but its very clean...yes there are dated loungers etc but am sorry if you want 5 Star then you have to pay 5 Star prices
