Overview

The Royal Panacea is located within walking distance of the lively centre of Gumbet, with its many shops, bars and restaurants. Situated on a hill in the heart of the resort, the property affords spectacular views out over the town and sea.

As the road leading up to the hotel is quite steep, and within the hotel there are many steps with no lift access, this hotel may not be suitable for some people with walking difficulties.

Rooms

The hotel is made up of standard hotel rooms and family rooms. The family rooms are basically apartments made up of one bedroom and one living room, but they contain no kitchen equipment. All of the rooms are bright and comfortable, featuring a hairdryer, direct-dial telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, safe box (local charge), showers and small balconies. Also in all standard rooms there are mini-bars (filled only on request, for a local charge), and in family rooms there are fridges. Please note that in the family rooms, air conditioning is only provided in the bedroom.

Food & Drink

The All Inclusive programme consists of a simple breakfast (08:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (19:30-21:30), all served buffet-style in the main restaurant. During meals, raki, vodka, gin, brandy, beer, wine and all soft drinks are offered (all locally-produced, and via self-service from the restaurant bar). Delicious light bites such as sandwiches, burgers, salads and pancakes are available from 14:00 to 16:00 at the poolside snack bar, followed by tea and coffee time with cakes from 17:00 to 18:00. Finally, a range of locally-produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks such as beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee are served from 08:00 to 23:00 at the pool bar.

Please note that imported drinks, fresh juices, ice cream, grills, sealed water, safe hire, hairdressing service, massages, sauna/Turkish bath access, telephone calls, laundry service, late check-out service and shopping from the market are not included in the All Inclusive programme.

Sports & Entertainment

The property offers an outdoor swimming pool with slides, along with a children's pool and playground. There's also the chance to enjoy table tennis, darts, a games room, a weekly Turkish night, and a daytime and evening entertainment programme subject to the hotel occupancy.
