Overview

The Phoenix Sun Hotel is located near the heart of the lively resort of Gumbet. The hotel is set on the hill, so from the higher parts like reception and the pool area, the hotel offers excellent views out over Gumbet and to the sea. From the bottom of the hotel, it is only 300m to the centre of Gumbet.

Please note, that due to its location and design, there is no lift service available, only a number of steps, so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties.

Rooms

Guests can choose between the Economy, Standard and Family rooms, all 225 rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, direct telephone, mini bar, satellite TV (BBC World), hairdryer, minibar (filled only on request - chargeable), baby cots free of charge available upon request. Family units have one bedroom with French bed and one living room with two sofa beds and a bathroom with shower, WC, and have either terrace or French balcony.

Food & Drink

The AIl Inclusive programme consists of breakfast (08:00-10:00), lunch (12:30-14:00) and dinner (19:00-21:00), all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals local alcoholic and soft drinks are offered. Snacks such as hamburgers, cheeseburgers, sandwiches, pizza, etc are available between 15:00 & 17:00 at the snack bar, near the pool. Tea & coffee time with cakes & cookies is from 17:00-18:00. Locally produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks are served from 10:00-23:00 at the Lobby, Terrace and Restaurant bars.

Sports & Entertainment

There are two swimming pools, a children's pool and children's club, water slides, traditional Turkish bath, sauna bath, water massage bed, and a massage hall with specialized massagers.

Sport facilities at the hotel include a pool table, darts, table tennis and soft animation programme performed in English with shows, competitions and games.

Chargeable Extras

Ice cream, fresh orange juice, imported drinks, mini bar, bottled water and Turkish coffee are available at a charge. Billiards is also an extra charge. There's also safe boxes available at the lobby and billiard.
