Our Take

We don't mean to rock the boat, but this marine-themed hotel might be a new firm fave for us. We had a whale of a time, and it was pretty clear from the moment we walked in and saw the portholes and ship-shaped pool bar (literally) that they take their themes VERY sea-riously around here. (As people who have deckchairs and inflatable flamingos in their office, we get that.) Just a heads up - Wi-Fi's a bit spotty here, but we decided to embrace the 'off the grid' vibes and kick back by the pool without worrying about our next Insta story. Verdict: we highly recommend. We also love an all-inclusive programme as much as the next person (if the next person is the biggest, baddest all-inclusive fan there ever was), and while it's not *totally* blow-your-mind, knock-your-socks-off packed with options here, there's still plenty to go at, and we did pay extra for a few cocktails because they were worth it. They were also STRONG, so a few was enough. Plus, with the exclusive beach club right on your doorstep, you're only ever a quick hop away from a waterslide, comfy cabana or a Starbucks iced coffee.

Overview

The best parts of the sweet life on deck with nautical décor to give you that cruise feeling without the sea sickness, making for the ultimate chillaxed holiday. There's also direct access to the beach PLUS exclusive access to the Eftalia Island Beach Club and you can keep the good vibes going poolside as well with the on-site DJ spinning out some groovy tunes to pair with that cocktail!

Eftalia Island Beach Club

What's on offer at Eftalia Island Beach Club? It'd be quicker to ask what's not on offer! This 1km stretch is split into three sections:

• Relax Zone - home to comfy cabanas and a chilled beach bar

• Kids' Zone - with a kids' club and splash park for the youngsters

• Activities Zone - pools, waterslides, sports courts and an amphitheatre if you fancy catching a show

Here's just a taste of what you can expect at this place:

• Beer, wine and soft drinks at the beach bar - all part of the all-inclusive concept!

• Snack restaurant serving ice cream, burgers, waffles and fried chicken. (We're drooling too...)

• Starbucks coffee (extra charge)

• Candyfloss and slushies (extra charge)

• 4 a la carte restaurants (Italian, Turkish, Asian and a grill restaurant)

• Open-air discos and foam parties

• Daily shows at the amphitheatre - including Brazilian dancing and Turkish-themed nights

• Pools, playgrounds and themed waterslides for the kids (spot the pirate ship!)

• 14 waterslides for the adults - from a boomerang slide to the classic kamikaze

Some activities - such as mini golf, watersports and the zipline - will require an extra charge. Spirits from the bars also require an extra charge.

Just a heads up, Eftalia Island won't be available through the Winter season (20/11 - 19/03) except for one beach/snack bar on the beach.

Location

• The beach is just a 3-minute walk away, and can be accessed directly through the handy underpass (talk about VIP!)

• Antalya Airport is around 1 hour and 30 minutes away (by car)

• Duplex Swim-Up Room - sleeping up to 5 adults and 1 child, this two-storey room is perfect for pool fanatics, with direct access to a shared pool via the terrace. Don't worry - there's a gate separating your terrace from the pool, so there'll be no unwanted wandering from the little ones, and you'll have your own handy drying rack for your swimwear and towels.

  • Ground floor - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and living area leading out onto the terrace

  • First floor - 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom and a balcony

• Family Room - decked out with two bedrooms (each with their own balcony!), this room sleeps up to 4 adults and 1 child

Food & Drink

• Main buffet restaurant - your go-to spot for tasty breakfasts, lunches and dinners

• A la carte restaurant (extra charge) - perfect for a special-occasion dinner

• Burgerland - open 24-hours (except during meal times in the buffet restaurant), for - you guessed it - burgers!

• Pool bar - shaped like a boat, you won't miss this one - serving a mix of soft and alcoholic drinks 24 hours a day (accompanied by live music!)

• Efes Pub - open in the evening for after-dinner drinks in a cosy setting

• Pssst! Don't forget the 4 a la carte restaurants at Eftalia Island Beach Club - all part of the all-inclusive package. You'll just need to reserve your spot in advance.

Ultra All Inclusive

Think regular all inclusive but so much better. On top of a free meal* at the on-site a la carte restaurant (or choose one of the 4 a la carte restaurants at the beach club), you'll have loads of wining and dining to keep your taste buds tingling:

• Breakfast: 07:00 - 10:00

• Lunch: 12:30 - 14:00

• Dinner: 19:00 - 21:00

• Drinks: 24 hours

• Snacks: 24 hours

(We know. That's a lot of drinking and snacking...)

Sports & Entertainment

• Main swimming pool - the heart of the action, surrounded by 11 poolside cabanas which you can rent and enjoy waiter service with your drinks brought straight to you (very fancy)

• On-site DJ serving up poolside beats right by the main pool

• Billiards table if you fancy a game in the sun

• Relaxation pool - the perfect place to chill out, with a smaller paddling pool for the kids and an adults-only pool bar, open until 17:00

• Kids' club - open from 08:00 - 12:00 and 14:00-17:00, ideal for keeping the little ones occupied!
