• Pretty much right on the beach - no long treks required.

• Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport is around a 30-minute drive away from the hotel - plenty of time for a natter with the cabbie.

• Hadrumetum - it's giving main buffet energy... probably cos that's exactly what it is, a feast of faves for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

• Baal - Tunisian and Oriental cuisine butt heads at this delish a la carte spot complete with terrace seating for dining al fresco.

• Barberousse - a beachy bistro for scrummy snacks like panini's crepes and ice cream as well as plenty of tasty tipples to wash it all down with.

• Carthage - a la carte on the beach where you can bag yourself some tapas, three small plates are the way forward we reckon.

• Dragut - what's a Summer jolly without a lil pool bar action, we're talking daiquiris on the sun beds kinda vibes.

• Tanit - the main lobby bar, it's got all the bases covered low-key, with night time snacks, all the drinks you could want and terrace seating if you fancy a drink under the sun.

• Sahnoun - not everyone's about the tipsy life, and we don't judge, in walks the Moorish cafe serving up teas and coffees for the caffeine queens out there.

• El Kobba - a late night disco just begging for you to throw down some sick shapes on the light-up floor.

• Swimming - three outdoor pools to take your pick from, including a cheeky waterslide pool - sorry though, this ones just for the little ones - and of course, plenty of places to plonk your towel and top up the tan. (the waterslide pool is open seasonally May - October)

• Sporty Bits - channel your inner sporty spice and take to the courts for some blood pumping activities - we're talking tennis, football, mini basketball, waterpolo, badminton, beach volleyball and a tonne more.

• For the Kids - other than the kids pools on offer, the little ones can also get stuck into the clubs on offer including the mini (4-7yrs), junior (8-12yrs) and teens (13-16yrs) clubs that boast everything from video gaming to outdoor games and activities, from mini-golf to sports tournaments and everything in between.

• Water Sports - the perfect way to spend a day on the beach if you're really not about the sand and tanning and all about getting in the waves, you can try your hand at windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking, banana boating and parasailing to name a few. (externally provided, extra charge)

• Spa & Wellness - not only is there a fourth pool nestled inside, but you can also get your zen on in the sauna and Hammam, or bin off the sit down and lay yourself down on one of the massage tables for a treatment. (extra charge)
