Patong Paragon

Overview

The pool at this place deserves a page of its own tbh - it's got a Jacuzzi, a swim-up bar, little bridges and THREE sunbathing islands (so you can catch some rays from the middle of the pool like you're the star of the show). Plus, there's an all-day poolside restaurant so you can get your Thai food fix anytime from 6am - 11pm, on-site sauna rooms if you're in the mood for a cheeky sweat sesh, AND a free shuttle service to the centre of Patong if you fancy getting out and about.

Location

• Great news - Patong Beach is only a 2-minute walk away! We're pretty lazy, but even we can manage that.

• Phuket Airport is around 50 minutes away, by car

• The centre of Patong is a 20-minute walk away, or a 6-minute drive. Here you'll find markets, beach clubs and the super-swish Jungceylon Shopping Centre. (Google it, it's epic.)

• Some rooms have direct pool access which means all you need to do is open a little gate on your balcony, and then climb down into the pool. Cheeky dip after your morning brew?

• All Day Poolside Restaurant - load up on traditional Thai food and international classics in this light and airy restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating depending what you fancy. The good news is, even if you're inside, you'll still be right by the pool with some pretty epic views.

• Swim-Up Pool Bar - walking for your drink is so overrated - this bar is its own little island smack-bang in the middle of the pool, so you can literally swim up for your pina colada. Ideal.

• Catch & Grill Café - the clue's kind of in the name with this one. They catch it, then they grill it. Seafood, that is.

Sports & Entertainment

• Outdoor pool - a whopping one with bridges, sunbathing islands, an integrated Jacuzzi and a swim-up bar. Show off.

• Lobby lounge - this place is super cosy, with big, comfy sofas, a pool table and a bar where you can order your favourite tipple

• Sauna rooms - book yourself in for a session if you fancy sweating it out - that's if the Thai heat hasn't already taken care of that for you...

• Thai massage - when in Thailand, right? Book yourself in for a pamper if you're in the mood to feel zen

• Fitness centre - bright, modern, fully-decked-out, overlooking the pool - it gets a tick from us, and we're not really gym-goers

• Library and internet café - cosy up with your beach read, grab a magazine from the rack or surf the web - this place is open from 7am 'til 9pm, so you've got free rein
