Hotel highlights
A stunning spread of cottages dotted along the beachfront, minimum walking is required here.
An open-air restaurant that boasts food morning, noon and night, (don’t worry, it’s undercover if you wanna do your best to beat the heat while you eat).
A cheeky 15-minute walk separates you from the 3rd most secluded beach in the WORLD… the possibilities are endless.
If you’re a fan of deep-sea diving and yoga, (who isn’t?) Then you’re sorted with scuba yoga on offer. We’re just as intrigued as you are, you go first, we promise we’re jumping in right after!
Wedding and honeymoon packages are on offer too, so whether you’re tying the knot, or it’s already double-knotted, we’ve got you covered.
Location
No need to plan a trek to the nearest beach, your cottage is situated right on it. Tumble out of bed and stumble to the… seafront?
Around a 30-minute journey from Robert L Bradshaw International Airport, part of the journey is a water taxi, which we think will make the time sail by.
Located a 20-minute drive from the island capital, you can visit Charlestown in a jiffy, and be back in time for tea.
Rooms
With only 32 cottages on offer, you might feel your boujee-ist self snatching up one of them, with selections including the Deluxe with a queen bed or two doubles, a Premier with one king, a Studio with Kitchen, or an Executive Suite with one king, you’ll truly be spoilt for choice.
The rooms don’t discriminate, they all offer:
Air conditioning (gorge!)
Wi-Fi
TV
Mini fridge (or full size if you snag a suite with a kitchen!)
En-Suite bathrooms
Room safe
Coffee maker (for that early morning caffeine fix)
Screened terrace/balcony (for those evening night-caps when you aren’t quite ready to let the good vibes fizzle)
Beach views (did we mention the cottages are along the beach? We did? Good!)
Food & Drink
Oualie Beach Resort - The restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with a focus on bringing fresh, local produce from ‘farm and sea to plate’. They also offer lite-bites, desserts and even afternoon tea if you fancy yourself a Lady Bridgerton fantasy. We certainly do!
Sports & Entertainment
Watersports - we won’t mention the beach again, starting now, but the resort offers snorkelling and scuba diving activities perfect for all the family, and you can rent all the equipment on the resort, no walking to the local office for a snorkel.
Hikes - If you love a good walk, there are plentiful hikes to be had on Nevis. Tracks usually take 2 hours, but we reckon the potential of seeing the green vervet monkeys makes it worth it.
Nevis Hot Springs - Fancy a bit of therapy? Well, a little birdie told us that these hot springs are only a 15-minute drive away and that the minerals contain medicinal value. The healing power of a nice, hot soak cannot be understated!
Spa Facilities - Wanna keep the relaxation vibes rolling? Then visit the spa and get a massage, or why not try some yoga and meditation, realign your chakras… is that how the saying goes? These might cost you some extra pennies, but totally worth it!
Sunset Cruise - Take to the open seas on an evening party boat offering good drinks, good music, and most importantly, good snacks! And the party departs from the pier at the resort, so you don’t really have a reason to say no. Fear of open water? Never heard of her.
