Until this hotel received a complete refurbishment and rebranding in 2014, it was operated under a different name as one of the numerous no-frills hostels in town for several decades. Now called The PURPLE.

There are a selection of room types on offer, all of which feature a stylish interior with a modern colour palette featuring lively greens and the signature purple. You can opt for an Essential Room, City Room, Pool View Room, Premium Pool View Room or a Junior Suite for something a little more spacious. Standard room amenities include air conditioning, FREE Wi-Fi, a HDTV with satellite channels, a safe, mini fridge, telephone, hairdryer, desk and a make-up mirror.

Food & Drink

In addition to all these new features The Purple now offers on the ground floor, a new and functional reception, bar and lounge area for meeting other guests of the hostel or local people of the LGBT community. The hotel offers primarily a Room Only concept, apart from Junior Suites and Premium Pool View Rooms which offer Bed & Breakfast, with breakfast served 09:00-13:00.

Sports & Entertainment

The place is best described as a space for people who do not like spending their holidays in multistorey hotels with masses of tourists, but do prefer a cosy and very familiar atmosphere with the possibility to chill-out in the tranquil courtyard at the pool, or to enjoy delicious cocktails and mouth-watering snacks or other excellent food on the embellished terrace, sitting under one of the sunshades. The well-known nightlife-spots or places of interest in Ibiza town can be reached by public transport from the local bus terminus (550 meters or 600 yards) all day.
