Hotel Altafulla Mar

This is a nice 4 star hotel close to the beach but very limited sea view. The hotel looks brand new and clean. Beds are comfortable. Free parking around. Breakfast is rich and delicious. You can sit in the garden under green trees. Service is perfect by the hotel staff. I recommend.

Non pretentious hotel

On route to the hotel we were informed that due to overbooking we were given an upgrade at their sister hotel a few minutes walk away. The hotel we did stay at was modern and the room was very spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The beach flip flops were a nice touch. 
My only suggestion for the room was the shower needed a bigger screen or larger mat as water splashed outside with every shower.
Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very good. Loved my morning coffee and pastries. There were hot breakfast items which my family enjoyed. We didn’t visit the rooftop pool/bar to use, but it did look great.
My daughter preferred the beach and only used the bigger pool at the original hotel which she enjoyed on our last day and had it all to herself! I would definitely recommend this town and hotel.

Great stay in Altafulla

Modern and clean structure with a great garden and pool area. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet in terms of variety and quality. Rooms and bathrooms are of a good size. Comfortable beds. Free WiFi throughout the structure. TV with international channels.

Ideal for a relaxing stay

This hotel is wonderful - a real favourite of ours. A local community feel and mostly Spanish guests - nothing like the package holiday type (thank goodness).  Family rooms are large.  We had to swap rooms after 3 days as our air con was broken and could not be fixed.  Food options on site are slightly limited especially for children, but the locality has enough on offer. Most of the staff are great!  Very helpful.  Not such a great experience in the restaurant at the front with grumpy staff serving us but otherwise all good.  We will be going back again and again!
