we have been in this apartment for 21 days, very clean and upmarket,washing machine,dishwasher,etc. the only problem was it said only 10 mins from town/beach this isn't true, we are in our late 70s and it is very hilly to go up and down, we found getting a bus 10mins 1 euro down the coast to Torrox much easier as you are practically on the long beach/promenade with lots of restaurants/bars, love nerja but quite pricy

Had an excellent 10 day stay at Apartamentos San Miguel in September.This small modernised apartment block is furnished and equipped to a high standard with everything you need. There is a private roof terrace with a small pool and hosts spectacular views.

Excellent accomodation

Just back from Nerja where we stayed in Apartmentos San Miguel. Overall the pros were: Good wifi, good parking, nice pool to cool off, good kitchen, and AC. Very close to supermarket and restaurants for breakfast.
Cons: Terrible bed linen. The pillows were disgusting and smelt of other people's sweat and were old and useless,(even after we asked the cleaning lady for fresh ones.) The sheets and cover were cheap and terrible quality. (Two single duvet covers instead of a top sheet). The couch was a metal fold up bed and very uncomfortable except for a couple of tired cushions. The TV sat on the kitchen table and could have been wall mounted. There were no english channels at all, which is ridiculous in this day and age.
The lack of comfort really took away from our enjoyment and experience, and if a little money were spent on upgrading the above items it would radically increase our rating.
And finally, the welcome booklet in the apartment is littered with mistakes in translation to english. Easy to fix.

Cheap but not cheerful

We stayed here for 8 days and found the apartment modern and had everything we need. There is a supermarket around the corner and it takes only 5-10 mins to walk to the beach and town. Free parking was easy to find around the apartment block. If your staying in Nerja I would recommend this place.
