Prado II

They called it a storm of the century in the news and what it meant was that it rained horizontally and there were constant lightning flashes seen on the sea. Electricity switched on and off several times and due to strong winds the rain found its way to the room through the balcony door (remember - horizontal rain). Next morning the whole are was flooded and many roads closed.
But... it was alright because the staff was always there for us and as we were one of the very few customers (definitely less than 10 customers in total in the whole hotel) we got all the attention we needed. Our room was on the top floor facing the sea therefore the view was gorgeous. Room itself was large and clean.
Buffet breakfast was abundant and it was even too much considering that there were so few customer staying there. On the last (third) day the storm cleared and we managed finally to visit the beautiful Old Town of Peniscola.
If we are ever there again, we would definitely stay in Prado II hotel

Memorable visit

Stayed in this hotel for three nights on an organised excursion. The hotel is ideally situated on the sea front a short walking distance to bars and restaurants. The hotel has recently been refurbished with bright modern bedrooms. Artificial turf surrounds the pool and makes it ideal for bathing

From the hotel you can see the castle which is spectacular when lit up at night. Short walk to the castle should you wish to explore it.

Excellent hotel ideally situated on the sea front

Large hotel. Basic, no frills, average size room. Comfortable bed. Nice bathroom & shower.  Variety of breakfast menue. Receptionist, Jasmina was very helpful with our basic request on booking. A little expensive for what you get though. Biggest issue was the bathroom door squeaks annoyingly on opening and closing.

Great location, very near to the beach and to the castle, all within walking distance. There is panoramic lift in there, and beach view from the balcony, ask for the high floor to enjoy it! Breakfast is very good as well
