• Almadraba - tuck into tasty Mediterranean and international cuisine at this buffet spot complete with terrace seating overlooking the main swimming pool.

• Atunante - this a la carte eatery is all about the Almadraba bluefin tuna - it's super tasty and it seems silly to try the place out without ordering yourself some.

• La Braseria - a beach barbecue... that's what we're talking about! Juicy meats and fresh fish with stunning views out to sea.

• La Bahia Beach Club - a Mediterranean restaurant set in the exotic gardens of the resort where you can dig into seafood, fresh fish and rice dishes.

• Swimming - there are five pools to choose from, so you aren't exactly short on options, with indoor and outdoor pools and jacuzzis. One of the pools is adults only and another has a water slide, so really, all bases are covered. If that wasn't enough though, you can also mosey on over to the beach for sea swimming and beach lounging.

• Fitness Facilities - looking to keep that holiday bod up to scratch? Make full use of the free on-site gym.

• U-Spa - R&R what you're looking for? The fully equipped spa facilities come with the most up-to-date technology including a hot tub, sauna, solarium and steam room, as well as the Sky Wellness Terrace, a top-floor open-air massage and treatment centre with stunning ocean views.

• There's a varied entertainment programme available for the whole fam, but if you like to make your own fun then head to the bowling alley and mini-golf course for a tournament or two.
