LOS ANGELES HOTEL PLAYA

Our stay was exceptional, the room although not large was fine for two. I would have preferred one big bed rather than two separate ones that move apart otherwise they were comfortable. The walk-in shower excellent and the beach and sea view from our balcony was sublime. Everywhere the staff were busy, they seemed always to be doing something with a smile. Housekeeping were brilliant. Breakfast on the outside on the terrace was plentiful with hot and cold choices, even a glass of cava if wanted. The evening meals were tasty and mostly well prepared. The pool is small, but you are right beside the sea. There are towels, deckchairs and a parasol for beach use, whilst the garden has loungers and chairs dotted around it's attractive spots. We would happily return in the future.

A little constructive criticism? :  Parking can be tricky, even in May. I would prefer one big bed. An option to request a kettle would be nice, I did ask for one before our arrival but was refused. Also a mosquitera on the patio door would be helpful so you can leave the door open at night and hear the sea. The lady at reception when we left could have been a little less aggressive, maybe she having a bad day? 

On the beach! 

We had a villa nearby so used this beach most days.  The hotel was really happy to have non residents use the bar. We did most days.
It’s a really nice pool bar with a good shower and toilet facilities. Food and beverages are of a very good quality and the service incredibly friendly. Not too pricey either. 
If the rest of the hotel is as good I would not hesitate to stay. It’s in a great location too.

Very family friendly

Gorgeous traditional hotel with lovely breakfast. We ate in one evening & it  was our most enjoyable meal. Super location, right on the beach with balconies facing the sea. Understated, authentic charm. You need a car or taxi to get to the town as it's 5km away though there are some great restaurants within walking distance. We highly recommend it!

Understated, authentic charm.

There are many positives about this hotel - wonderful beach location, comfortable beds, good restaurant food and well-maintained throughout. My solo stay was very relaxing and enjoyable, but would have been even better if staff were a little friendlier -  missing from many was any effort to warmly connect with guests. While this was not true of all staff, some training in friendly hospitality would not go amiss.
