Just a heads-up, this hotel doesn't take bookings from stag/hen parties and young groups, they also won't accept group reservations of more than 2 rooms under the same name, even if the reservation reference numbers are different!

For family bookings, book 2 rooms and then book the 3rd and 4th rooms separately under a different lead name and so on. Be wary guys that the hotel can cancel any reservations of more than two rooms booked with the same name!

Location

• Cala Almadraba beach is just an 8-minute walk away from the hotel, probs 5 if you get a shift on!

• A 45-minute drive away from Alicante Airport, such a satisfying number, think about that for the drive and it'll go by quicker than your last-minute packing dash!

• The hotel is baaaaasicly along the beach, like very nearly, so once you get there you can walk along the seafront to see all that Benidorm has to offer, more beaches, more shops, more bars, more restaurants!

Rooms

• The Magic Aqua Rock Gardens offers up an African-inspired theme throughout the hotel, and the rooms are no exception with vibrant colours and intricate prints, you'll have plenty to feast your eyes on! Choose from Individual Rooms, Double Rooms and Master Rooms.

Double Rooms can sleep up to three guests! Just so you know, Partial Sea View Rooms, Double Supreme Rooms and Double Standard Rooms do not feature a balcony.

• Africa Emotion waterpark - thrilling waterslides, jacuzzis and oxygenating hammocks, (we Googled and they're hammocks in the water, kick your feet up immediately!)

• Game Room - appropriately named an experience, this hotspot boasts the latest console video games and virtual reality systems as well as classic arcade games, beat our high score on Pac-man!

• Chill out - we're telling you to and we know just the place, this adults-only top-floor area of the hotel comes complete with a bar, Bali beds and a sun terrace!

• On-site spa - this place feels low-key exclusive with its 16+ age restriction and its obligatory spa kit (extra charge), you can enjoy a range of treatments from facials, to massages to body wraps, there's even a sauna guys! (extra charges may apply)

• Mini club - for ages 4-12, this club offers the littlest guests plenty of activities such as painting and storytelling to keep them entertained, we heard word there's a mini disco too! knee slides pending...

• Evening entertainment - plenty is going on for the whole family to enjoy with professional shows and dances taking place on the reg!

• Fully-Equipped Gym - for fitness enthusiasts who fancy working up a sweat, keep yourself feeling happy and healthy here!

• Events - Halloween event from October to November with fancy dress competitions, face painting and themed accommodation. Magic Christmas from late November to early January with an ice-skating rink and a Christmas parade (make sure you confirm the dates with the hotel!)

Just so you know, swimming pools and waterslides are operational dependent on weather conditions. There is a minimum height requirement of 120cm to use the slides.

The waterpark opening/closing dates are also dependent on the weather as well as occupancy, so when booking during low season please double-check! During high season the waterpark operates between 11:00 - 20:00 and during low season between 12:00 - 16:00 (slides are open 12:00 - 14:00 during the Winter season).
