The owner of this cafe is lucky because he can hide behind the property.  But they should be ashamed of themselves for stealing people's money.  We ordered the Entrecote with Mushroom sauce.  My husband was unable to cut the meat with a sharp knife. The Mushroom sauce was hideous.  I ordered the grilled fish.  It was chewy and tasted like nothing.  It literally tasted like nothing.  Some people might have protested and sent it back.  I am on holiday and not looking for drama.  But this place preys on people walking by.  It looks pleasant and clean and there is a pretty swimming pool.  And so this review is for anyone that doesn't want to be made a sucker.

Sunny Village Cafe - Worst Food We've Eaten - Ever

First entering the complex looked ok, met by receptionist, seemed nice, gave me keys to the room, entered the room and was completely disappointed, for the price I paid for the 2 nights stay of €270 including breakfast! (Failed to mention on reception where that would be served) on closer look in the room, it was dirty, hairs on the floor, bits of muck all over the living room floor, outside patio was even worse, the loungers was thick with muck and cob webs, obviously we didn’t use them, pool bar looked a mess, barrels left outside, next morning looking forward to breakfast, well was a disappointment that was, basically this was laid out on the bar, and it was just packed croissants and buns, cereal and fruit, (pictures on the booking.com say different) I had to go out and get food, I think that they need to put pictures on of the rooms in reality it’s not what you get! Definitely would not recommend to anyone, over  priced, good point was location. Highly recommend that this place gets a deep clean and train staff how to clean! 

Awful

Very surprised by the overall standard, it was very good. the bungalows are spotlessly clean and the bed are very comfortable. I arrived at 12 noon and the bungalow was ready which was great. they have limited reception but you dont need them as you have the key and also the pool bar staf are very friendly. 

Its 2 min walk to the YUMBO but you can not hear the noise at all. 

I would definitely stay here again 

Clean, friendly and close to Yumbo

We have spent the week here, Oct 2019. 

Rooms are bungalow style, very clean, spacious and well equipped. Air con is included when booking with TUI, priced per day for other operators. €10 deposit for TV remote and €10 deposit for safe plus €2 per day.
2 min walk to Yumbo centre which has gift shops, duty free shops, multiple restaurants, bars, arcades, mini golf, pharmacy, medical clinic and tourist information. 
10 minute walk to the beach but then there is 80 steps down. We had my mum and dad with us who are unable to walk too far so we got a taxi from the taxi rank at the Yumbo centre, cost around €3.50 down to the beach. All the taxis here have meters so you know you aren’t being ripped off. 

There is a large Superdino supermarket 2 minutes walk from the apartments which stock a wide range and all at a good price. The rooms have a fridge with freeze compartment, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and 2 ring hob.

Mini golf is €7 for adults and €6 for children. Took about an hour to play and was a nice place, had a little coffee shop, vending machines for cold drinks and even a library plus plenty of places to sit for spectators.

The market in San Fendando is on Wednesday and Saturday, there is a bus but we took a taxi, €3.75, 5 minute ride but too far to walk! Usual Spanish market but wasted a morning :)

The pool at the hotel is small in comparison to other complexes but does the job, no fancy slides but it’s clean and there are plenty of sun beds. There is a pool bar open daily for drinks and snacks and the bar man is very helpful. When we arrived no one was expecting us! TUI hasn’t made them aware of our arrival and the reception was closed! Luckily the bar man made some calls, gave us the tv remotes and safe keys, made sure my parents had a room close to the entrance to save them walking any further than required and our room as close as possible to theirs. As you can imagine, the accommodation not expecting you isn’t a great start to the holiday but from the start he was saying don’t panic l will sort it! Relax!

As our rooms were close to the pool we could pick up the free pool WiFi in our rooms-bonus! You get the codes from the pool bar daily and with each code you get 3 hours free, otherwise it is payable per day and for the number of devices you wish to connect.

The accommodation has a locked gate on to the street so you get two keys, one for your room and one to unlock the front gate. It is very secure.
