Hotel Adagio Gastronòmic

The hotel has got everything absolutely spot on. Bed and pillow were very comfy, balcony with huge doors looked out over the street. The curtains are black out curtains - perfect for afternoon naps after walking around the gothic quarter! There’s plenty of decent mirrors and a hairdryer. The bathroom is modern, the shower is a mixer from the tap so temperature was perfect. Pressure great & adjustable. The room was cleaned and bed made well and they have hand sanitiser and they all wear masks. It’s in a fantastic location too - walking distance to the beach, surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. It’s close to the cathedral and it’s walking distance to the Sagrada Familia too. And las ramblas is a 2 minute walk away. It’s right next to bus and metro for longer journeys. The guy on reception is super friendly, gave me a map and showed me all the best places to go. Also printed a few things out for me. For the price too this hotel is wonderful. I loved my stay here, I will be back! Thank you so much

Very good price for the location. The service was good, the room was clean with everything needed available in it. It was beautiful and big enough. I really enjoyed my stay in Adagio, and the location is perfect, I recommend it !

Very good

Initially after reading some previous review, I was skeptical. My 1st impression of the bed was "hard as a rock". I slept like a baby.  Breakfast is continental and basic but I was never hungry before lunch . Cereals and coffee an juice and croissants and sliced meats with multiple breads. Noise from street was minimal and we slept with balcony windows mostly open. Bedding was promptly changed and clean. Hot water was plentiful. If you aren't paying for "The Ritz" don't expect it. Great location and the building has history at 1 time it was an old soldiers home. Ask.

Good Basic functionality

Although it's only a 2 star, the location of Adagio is why we stayed here. Located right in the centre of the gothic quarter! Everything is a few mins walk. Rooms were basic but very clean. Rooms can be quite noisy, but that's Barcelona for you!
