My first visit to another country and this  was through go ahead tours. The hotel was a short trip from the airport and appears to be centrally located. The staff was pleasant, my room thou small was comfortable.  The hotel offers daily breakfast free which was nice.

Lovely trip tp Barcelona

Truly is a great location, but the hallways are dark.  Included breakfast is good and the coffee is great!!  The pillows were terrible and some couples we were travelling with were across from a nightclub that kept waking them up till 4am.  We were very lucky we had a patio!

Great location

The reception staff are so unfriendly bordering on arrogant. Every morning when I left the hotel would say hello and good morning. Not any reply from these arrogant staff. The room and hotel itself are very good, but staff need a check up from the neck up. Maybe because we were british 😉.

Location 
Hotel is in a nice location with a supermarket, cafes and bars just outside. It is out of the way from the main town, about 3-4km and about 30/35 minutes by taxi from the airport. There are bus services nearby, as well as taxis available so that is an ideal. 

Hotel
The lobby is really nice and well-decorated, with some seating available for guests or waiting to check in/out. There are only 2 lifts, the lifts say they fit 3 and 4 people but they are small and it is a struggle to get anything more than 2 people and a suitcase in. On our last day, one of the lifts was out of order which was a pain. 

Room
The room is nicely decorated and spacious. We were very disappointed as we had booked what was classed as a "DOUBLE STANDARD" room, yet had two single beds pushed together with seperate sheets. I understand this is common, but the beds were not secured together which was very frustrating as a couple, especially with it being for our anniversary. The bathroom has no real door so cannot be locked and it is see-through which is a little uncomfortable. We stayed in room 204 and the bath/shower drain area had some damage and rust. Room had a safe and a TV however we could not change the language so mainly watched Netflix to combat this. We saw throughout the self-service areas on each floor that there were mini fridges with water in, however these were constantly locked and we could not access them with our key. The sign described that fridges were available 24/7 from reception however when we enquired about this we were told it was not the case. It would be extremely beneficial to add fridges to these rooms. Air conditioning was good, however it is frustrating that it cannot be left on whilst you are out as when you return it is extremely hot. No soundproofing, people in corridors are very loud. On my birthday we attempted to have a lie in, and despite having the Do Not Disturb sign on our door, we could hear slamming / housekeeping and other guests. 

Reception staff were not particularly helpful and in some instances quite rude, housekeeping were lovely.
