• World Cafe - Buffet time! Make sure you fill your plate up high at this international restaurant, cake and pasta on the same plate or you're missing a trick! The buffet is open for brekkie 07:00-11:00, lunch 12:00-16:00 and dinner 18:30 - 22:00.

• Carvão - Ever wanted to eat Ariel's little mate Flounder? From 13:00-16:00 and 18:30-23:00 you can enjoy ALL the delights of the sea here.

• Oishii - Teppanyaki? More like TeppanYUMMY! Enjoy the specialty Japanese cuisine and Teppanyaki table at this formal-attire dining experience, open 18:00-23:00.

• Sabor - à la carte serves up Mediterranean dishes in a gorgeous light ambience from 18:00-23:00.

• Club De Fado - Get your fix of local Madeiran nosh, and of course the famous wine, from 18:00-23:00.

• Nouvel Brasserie - Oh la la, tickle your most refined taste buds in this former lighthouse-turned-restaurant for a truly unique experience with typically delicious French cuisine. Opening hours are 19:00-00:00 for our late-night scranners.

• Moments Lobby Bar - Unwind in this warm, understated and chic bar serving cocktails and live music from 11:00-00:00.

• Pesqueiro Pool Bar - Snacks? Check! Wide range of drinks? Double check! Hang by the pool bar between 11:00-18:00.

Sports & Entertainment

• Drop the little (and not so little) ones off at the Explorer's Club (ages 4-12) and Core Zone Teens Club (ages 13-17) and they'll be entertained while you sample Madeira's famous wine. The Explorer's club offers science, exploring, painting and drawing activities and is constantly supervised, open from 10:00-17:00. For our mature kiddos the Teen's Club is open 10:00-17:00 and offers sports and games (real ones of the board variety and video games too!)

• Pop on down to Reception to book in scuba diving, snorkelling, sea fishing, surfing, windsurfing, paddleboarding, waterskiing and sailing!

• Check out the four pools that this hotel has to offer, from the 3-level main pool with sunbeds, snacks and entertainment on deck, the Splash Park Pool complete with waterslides, the Adults-Only pool for when you want to say the F-word away from young ears (we mean Funchal, of course...) And the hyper-lux Indoor Spa Pool, heated for your pleasure!
