Currently staying here. The apartments are fine if you don't mind a no frills kind of holiday. The apartments are clean and well equipped. It's around a 15 Min walk to the Marina so in a good location. We have been to Vilamoura a few times and it's definitely gone up in price quite alot. But hasn't everywhere. Most restaurants charge around 20 euros for a pizza. Some restaurants are cheaper than others. 
The pool is clean and nice and quiet. There is no reception at all so if you have any issues you have to contact the owners direct. I feel the apartments have become privately owned and ready for a face lift but wouldn't put me off booking if you don't mind a cheap and cheerful break away. One other point the make is the main pool is very deep so children cannot stand up in it. There is a small kids pool though.

We have stayed at the Alvaflor Apartments for the past 2 years and want to book again for May 2020.
Does anyone know if these apartments are still open and who we should book through?
We've tried calling the hotel directly and tried booking through Travel Republic / Booking.com but are unable to.

Is this hotel still open?

We stayed here for a week in October.
It was excellent value for money,and couldn't fault it. 
The room was clean and well equipped. 
Room was cleaned daily. 
The supermarket was 5 mins walk and the marina about 15mins.
All staff were friendly and helpful.

Good value for money

These apartments are really nice, plenty of space and clean. Make sure you ask for one with a balcony and preferably pool side.Had everything we needed ate in a few evenings,and staff are all lovely. Pool is freezing and very deep.10 min walk to local supermarket and an amazing indian restaurant called Masala Markke. If you walk through here marina is a 10 minute walk further on. Nice places to eat gor all budgets.
