Baltum

Overview

The Baltum Hotel is the oldest and most famous hotel in the city of Albufeira. Located in the heart of this ancient fishing village, the Hotel Baltum is only about 100 m from the famous Praia dos Pescadores (Fisherman's Beach), the location of choice for some of the most magnificent shows in the Algarve. Whilst we're on the subject of the hotel's proximity to the beach and sea, we shouldn't overlook that it is even closer to the restaurants, bars and commercial hub of the city, considered the capital of Portuguese tourism. The huge variety of cuisine on offer makes for a difficult choice when deciding where to go for an excellent romantic dinner or a family meal. The Hotel Baltum has a wonderful rooftop lounge area, the 'B-rooftop' which has terrace where guests can soak up the sun, relax in the jacuzzi or enjoy cocktails whilst taking in the sea views.

Rooms

The hotel has a total of 51 rooms of three different types for its guests: rooms without a balcony, rooms with a balcony and superior rooms for three people. The rooms are elegantly decorated, predominantly in blue and white, and have a light grey wooden floor, to represent the hotel's relationship with the nearby sea. To increase guests' comfort during their stay, all rooms are equipped with air conditioning, an LCD TV, a telephone with direct external access, a safe and a private bathroom with amenities.
