Valentina Hotel

Currently staying at Valentina. Excellent hotel, way beyond its 3* rating. Economy room is clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and attentive. Good range of food at breakfast. The location is great, right in  the middle of Paceville but far enough from the clubs to be quiet at night and near to Ross bus stop so you can get to anywhere on the island. Rooftop pool is great but the bar was closed as it’s late in the season, but you can call the bar downstairs and they will bring drinks up to the roof. Big shout out to Sofia for looking after our room and all the breakfast staff for providing a gluten free option every morning. Well done Hotel Valentina! 601

Highly recommended

Hotel Valentina is a lovely, very well run hotel.  We were pleased with our room which was spacious and very clean and the breakfast was described as 'lavish' and it really was! So much choice - there was a good selection of the usual cooked options as well as a selection of cheese, ham, cereals, breads, fresh fruit and yoghurts but also freshly baked cake! The lady chef was excellent and some days there were three cakes to choose from - never seen that at breakfast before. All the staff were friendly, very professional and eager to help. Overall, Hotel Valentina was excellent and I would recommend it to anyone for a great stay in Malta.

Just excellent really!

We paid for a superior twin room which was not great! The air con didn’t work just had a ceiling fan. The toilet didn’t flush properly. The view from our room was awful. Pool quite small and I could not see the breathtaking views that are mentioned it was basically a building site. When we left the reception staff didn’t acknowledge us or say goodbye….very poor and I don’t recommend. I understand the hotel isn’t responsible for building work but the location of this hotel and view was awful.

Disappointed with this hotel

Hotel and staff excellent and very helpful and friendly. We stayed for 7 nights during the month of October and we really enjoyed our time there. The room was cosy and cleaned every day. The rooftop bar and pool was the highlight and always beds available. The waiters would always check to see if there was anything you needed. Have to say definitely go back. Thanks for such a friendly welcome.
