Rooms

All rooms at the Preluna are air-conditioned and feature a tea/coffee maker, a satellite TV, and a private bathroom with bath and shower.

Sea View Room: Set in attractive decor, the spacious and bright Sea View Room offers comfortable accommodation with a balcony, where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea. Air conditioning, a safe, telephone, television and internet connection are provided as standard.

Inland Room: Set in a lovely decor, the spacious and bright Inland Room offers a balcony, where you can enjoy a tea in the morning. The bathroom is equipped with bath tub.

Standard Room: The comfortable Standard Rooms are fitted with a large window, featuring all the essential amenities. The bathroom is equipped with bath tub.

Family Room: The ideal accommodation for families travelling with young children or a group of four adults the Family Rooms are made up of two interconnecting bedrooms and one bathroom.

Sea View Junior Suite: The two-room Sea View Junior Suites gives you the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular views over the Mediterranean Sea from one of the two balconies. The Junior Suites are coming with LCD TV and DVD player in addition to the standard facilities. This room can accommodate up to 3 persons. The bathroom is equipped with bath tub.

Food & Drink

The Preluna Hotel & spa offers an array of dining facilities and bars to suit different moods and appetites. Sip a cappuccino at the open air coffee shop or treat yourself to a delicious dinner at Mareluna Restaurant, whilst our Skyroom Penthouse Lounge offers a 360 degree view of the island and over the clear blue sea below, Sakura will also offer a taste from the East. The Preluna offers all rooms with breakfast included, this is served in the Triton Restaurant. We also offer Half Board, Full Board and even All-Inclusive.

Mareluna Restaurant and Lounge

A true commitment to Italian tradition. Mareluna celebrates the Mediterranean cuisine using only the freshest ingredients. Our Italian chefs transform each simple dish into a culinary delight. The menu is an exciting blend of traditional and fanciful takes on all Italian classic dishes from various regions of Italy, with a special focus on fresh homemade pasta and pizza baked in a stone oven. The environment evokes a sense of comfort and homely marina atmosphere reminiscent of a traditional family meal.

The Skyroom Penthouse

The Skyroom Penthouse Lounge is located on the top floor of the hotel and offers 360 panoramic views over the island of Malta and Mediterranean sea. Peaceful lounge area with bar service, ideal for a relaxing aperitif or liqueur. Several nights a week you can also find entertainment held in the Skyroom.

This breathtaking venue is also used for weddings, parties and other special events.

Triton Restaurant

The Triton restaurant is Preluna's main restaurant offering our clients a generous, varied buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, also featuring an open show kitchen. Using the freshest ingredients we strive to please any taste and will of course cater for most dietary requirements.The Triton is located on the first floor of the hotel with beautiful views over the Mediterranean sea. Theme dinners are also organised several nights a week.

Sakura Japanese Cuisine and Café

Sakura offers luxurious surroundings both on the terrace and inside the premises where besides an area allocated for clients having a quick coffee there is also seating for those wishing to dine. A Japanese Fusion cuisine is the main attraction being served for lunch and dinner daily whilst snacks such as baguettes, sandwiches and salads are also offered daily. A lounge bar is operating in the evening to attract clients wishing to drink only. Plasma screens and appropriate music will help to create an intimate atmosphere.

La Piazza Bar

La Piazza Bar is the hub of the Preluna Hotel & Spa. It is located on the ground floor in the lobby and offers a full bar service, open daily this is the place to have a refreshing drink after a day's adventures, a pre-dinner cocktail or an after dinner liqueur. Entertainment is also held in the Piazza Bar several nights a week.

Board Basis Options

All room rates include breakfast as standard; however at the hotel we offer more options.

Half Board* is offered at The Preluna Hotel & Spa, this includes dinner on a daily basis

Full Board* is also offered which includes Lunch and Dinner on a daily Basis

All-Inclusive* is also offered which includes Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, drinks between 11.00am and 23.30hrs and more.

Sports & Entertainment

The Preluna Hotel & Spa offers a vast array of leisure facilities to suit all needs, make you holiday as active or as relaxing as you like. Spend your day by the outdoor swimming pool making use of our watersports on offer or why not try scuba diving and take advantage of the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean. If you prefer a more relaxing break join us at The Feelgood wellness spa for a vast selection of relaxing treatments or lounge in our indoor heated pool and Jacuzzis. Whatever your choice you are sure to find what you are looking for. One of the latest additions to the hotel leisure facilities is the mini golf course is made up of 9 holes and located on the roof top of another building which makes up The Preluna Hotel & Spa, offers views of the open sea and Sliema. Open all year round it is the ideal game to enjoy in the winter sun, Malta is known for.  A large salt-water swimming pool, separate children’s paddling pool, sun-loungers, towels, parasols, bar and grill, Padi Certified scuba diving school and various water sports all make for an exciting or relaxing visit, depending on your personal taste. The Preluna's private beach club is open from 1st May until 31st October each year. (Weather Permitting)

The beach club is available for the exclusive use of our guests. Sun beds and towels are provided free. (Returnable deposit on towels). Parasols available at a nominal rental charge. Access to the sea at the edge of our pool is easy and the water is extremely clear. Excellent for amateur snorkellers.

Feelgood  Wellness  Spa  offers  a  wide  selection  of  fitness*, health* and relaxation facilities* in a beautiful environment right in the heart of Sliema. Access is by stairs and therefore not accessible for the disabled) Enjoy the luxury of a heated sweet water indoor pool with two large Jacuzzis. Constant filtration and circulation assure optimal water quality at all times. Relaxing background music to create the right relaxing atmosphere.
