The resort is located on the Dhaalu Atoll, which is just a 45-minute seaplane ride away from Male International Airport.

Kandima Maldives offers a total of 266 elegant studios and villas, each with a stylish interior inspired by the island's surroundings. You can opt for a Sky Studio, a Beach Studio, a Beach Villa with a Jacuzzi, an Aqua Villa (with the option of a Jacuzzi), or an Ocean Pool Villa. General amenities include FREE Wi-Fi, an LED TV, a hairdryer, a safety deposit box, a coffee machine and a minibar.

Food & Drink

If there's one thing for sure, you won't run out of places to eat during your stay at this luxurious resort. From a market-style food hall and a laidback deli specialising in Asian and Maldivian bites, to a fine-dining venue serving the most delicious Far Eastern cuisine, your taste buds are in for a treat. Further venues include Aroma Café for coffees, juices and baked goods, Breeze Pool Bar for a selection of refreshments located right by the outdoor infinity pool, Azure Mediterranean restaurant, a BBQ grill restaurant for tasty meat dishes at lunch and dinner, and the laidback Beach Club, where you can soak up the sun and sip mojitos whilst listening to chilled-out DJ sets.

Sports & Entertainment

This resort is home to the longest outdoor infinity pool in the Maldives - if that isn't enough to get you craving a holiday here, we don't know what is! Spend your days sipping cocktails in between refreshing dips, or head to the beachfront to try your hand at some watersports if that's more your style. The island is surrounded by the most beautiful blue ocean, so you'll find plenty of diving sites, fishing activities and wind-powered watersports in the area. Travelling with the little ones? Kandima Kids' Club is the perfect way to make sure younger guests stay entertained, with a dedicated team of staff offering daily indoor and outdoor activities for the kids. Activities such as aerobics and Zumba are also offered on site if you fancy keeping active, as well as a 24-hour gym and a relaxing spa if you prefer to take things slow, with al-fresco treatment areas, daily yoga classes and a sauna.

Transfers to the Maldives hotels are from Male International Airport via either domestic aircraft, seaplane, or speedboat. Luggage allowance varies depending on transfer type:

• Domestic aircraft (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Seaplane (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Speedboat (No luggage restrictions)

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.

If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
