Location

• After landing at Velana International Airport (MLE) you get to either continue your journey airborne, or switch to waterborne if you dont get seasick! A speedboat or seaplane will get you from the mainland to the resort in a scenic 45 minute ocean ride!

• Drop us a pin! You'll be off-grid and in a 23 hectare island all-to-yourself! Surrounded by plush tropical forests, barricaded in by white sandy beaches and of course crystal clear blue waters as far as the eye can see!

• A speedboat ride away from Hanifaru Bay! The protected by UNESCO biosphere reserve, one of the very few surviving globally, with coral reefs unlike anywhere else in the world, the residents of which can trump the star-studded cast of Finding Nemo!

Food & Drink

• Jaafaiy Restaurant - The main event, offering panoramic island views as your backdrop for brekkie, lunch and dinner! The international cuisine is laid out in a continental buffet for your enjoyment three times a day! Give it a go and but your waistband to the test! (might have to undo the top button first)

• Raiyvilla Fusion - On the western tip of the island, with prime sunset watching views. This Asian-fusion restaurant features exciting culinary inventions and experiments from the resident chef while also pairing them with a top-notch selection of exclusive cocktails! Fancy a show? Book the teppanyaki table in advance and keep your phone a safe distance away when filming the chef - things will get fiery!  

• Amigos - So grab your amigos and/or amores and head on down for some mouth-watering tacos! Wash your picky bits down with a toast and a fusion cocktail the likes of which you probably have never encountered!

• Udhares Bar - The resident poolside spot where all the good vibes flow right into the night and morning too- that's right, 24/7 service! With unmissable ocean views, premium spirits and craft cocktails flowing freely, the DJ spinning out some groovy tunes for you to shake a bone to!

• All-inclusive guests - Listen up! You get to dine at  the Jaafaiy restaurant at no extra charge, or can opt to try the hotel's Mexican Restaurant, Raiyvilla Restaurant or Destination Dining (including a lobster barbecue dinner) for lunch or dinner at a discount of 20%! Check those perks out - and some more for your consideration:

• You can benefit from a choice of any two excursions: sunset cruise, local island visit or guided house reef snorkelling. Please note these excursions are organised in groups, along side other guests. Additionally, all-inclusive guests are offered one complimentary head and shoulder massage or foot massage (per person per stay).

Sports & Entertainment

• Main Pool - Grab your fave cocktail from the pool bar and chill on one of the loungers, or work on your tan on the spacious sun terrace! For those of you who cant just sit still for longer than 20 minutes dont worry - there's daily activities on from Aqua gym to dance classes, pilates and yoga so get ready to shake a leg (just careful not to break one!)

• Water sports - When surrounded by tropical, tranquil, crystal clear waters what else is there to do (quite a lot) aside than slicing through the currents on a jet ski, bracing against the wind for a thrilling kite-surfing ride or maybe just keep the adrenaline levels at a low, opt for a leisurely paddle board or clear canoe instead, to help you take in the views of the reef from above!  

• Dive - Remember the aforementioned reef? There's alot more where that came from in these waters! The hotel organizes daily diving expeditions for those of you looking to dust off your padi divers license and get up close and personal with the full cast of Shark Tale! (Great whites not included - but do prepare for the odd encounter with a charmingly harmless reef shark)

• Snorkel - Don't have a padi divers licence? Or you might simply prefer the view from above! Well grab a couple of flippers, a snorkel and doggy paddle your way around the island! You wont be missing out on all that much more than the bona-fide divers in your group - the show is equally as mesmerising from above!  

• Wellness Village - That's right, a tiny little village designed specifically for your enjoyment, relaxation and rejuvenation! There are tennis and badminton courts as well as a fully equipped fitness centre if you're looking to stay on track with bulking season! Fancy some extra TLC? Have a look at the spa menu, there's several specialized massage therapies on offer as well as beauty treatments to keep you looking young and fresh!

• Kids Club - Sorry parents, this one's just for the kids! The prime mingling spot for the little ones on their jollies! Because a friend made on a jolly is a friend for life! Fully equipped with games, toys and a playground as well as animators and professional caretakers to keep them entertained, giggling and learning!

Transfers to the Maldives hotels are from Male International Airport via either domestic aircraft, seaplane, or speedboat. Luggage allowance varies depending on transfer type:

• Domestic aircraft (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Seaplane (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Speedboat (No luggage restrictions)

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.

If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
