Overview

Sliding straight from your balcony into the ocean? Yep, it's possible at Siyam World Maldives. With a 'you can have it all' attitude at its heart, this 24-hour all-inclusive resort has something for everyone. You can choose a villa that suits you - whether you're a beach baby (guilty) or a pool fanatic. Fill your boots at one of the many restaurants and then take a dunk in the pool or hit the beach for some watersports. When in the Maldives, right?! There's even a playground on site to keep the little ones happy.

Distance from Airport

The hotel is just a 40-minute seaplane ride away from Velana International Airport in Malé.

Rooms

Where do we start? The resort offers a whole range of beach and pool villas, including Water Villas with a slide from your balcony to the ocean, and Beach Houses for something closer to the sand. Each villa comes with a private pool so a swim is always on the cards, and you'll have loads of luxury amenities too.

Food & Drink

There's a restaurant for every taste bud at this resort, including buffet-style venues, a Maldivian grill restaurant, Shipwrecked bar for drinks and light lunches, a 24-hour sports bar (for teens and adults only), and a choice of poolside bars. There are also specialty restaurants open for dinner, with Thai, Indian, Spanish and Japanese food on offer. Plus, there's an underground fine-dining wine cellar which you can visit for an extra charge. Don't fancy leaving the comfort of your villa? Well, we've seen the photos - we don't blame you! In-villa dining is available for an extra fee, so you can enjoy your favourite food and drinks without moving a muscle. Oh, and on the unlimited all-inclusive package, there's a pop-up beach BBQ once per week. Count us in!

Some restaurants may only be open seasonally or on select days, and may only be available for certain room types.

Sports & Entertainment

Each accommodation type has its own private pool, so you're never far from a swim. Prefer a dunk in more natural waters? No problem, the crystal-clear waters are right on your doorstep at this resort - quite literally, if you choose a Water Villa with a slide! A variety of watersports are available at the beach if you fancy getting active, and a selection of sports and activities are offered on site at the resort - including a Little Explorers club for ages 4-12. Plus, you'll have easy access to Siyam Water World - the biggest waterpark in the Maldives. Now that's a record we can get behind. If you're just here for some peace and quiet though, then the on-site spa and wellness centre will be right up your street.

Transfers to the Maldives hotels are from Male International Airport via either domestic aircraft, seaplane, or speedboat. Luggage allowance varies depending on transfer type:

• Domestic aircraft (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Seaplane (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Speedboat (No luggage restrictions)

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.

If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
