Overview

This small resort brings you stunning, sun soaked simplicity, for a quiet, relaxing break with your loved one. It's far from action-packed, but that's what we love about it! It's the ideal place to really kick back, chill out and recharge. And, of course, there are boat trips and water sports for those days when you feel like getting out and exploring. Our advice, though: enjoy the view, there's nothing quite like it!

How far is the nearest beach?

Adaaran Prestige Vadoo is located on a tiny island, surrounded by white sands and blue sea.

Distance from Airport

The resort is accessed by a 15-minute speedboat transfer from Malé International Airport - talk about arriving in style.

Rooms

There are two room types here: Sunrise Villas and Sunset Villas, so you can choose what suits you. Early risers will love watching the sun come up over the sea, but if you prefer to bask in the glow of golden hour, the Sunset Villas are for you. There are also four Honeymoon Villas to make your newly-wed break that bit more special.

The villas are located over the water, so you can watch the fish swimming through the glass floor panel in your room. Every villa also comes with air conditioning, a satellite TV, safe, mini bar (extra charges apply), coffee and tea making facilities, toiletries, hairdryer and cosy bathrobes. Plus, there's a Bluetooth speaker that you can take out onto your own private sundeck to listen to some tunes whilst you have a splash in the plunge pool or chill out on the sunbeds.

Food & Drink

There are two restaurants and two bars at the resort. The Farivalhu Fine Dining restaurant serves a set menu or à la carte menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or, for something different, check out their Japanese restaurant, Kithajima, for fresh sushi and other delicious dishes in the evening. The Kandolhi Bar and Dhoni Bar serve wines, beers, cocktails and spirits - the perfect spot to enjoy a sip at sunset.

Sports & Entertainment

This island paradise has got everything you could possibly need on your jollies. As well as your own private plunge pools, there's a big swimming pool located on the island, plus a spa, souvenir shop, currency exchange and laundry service. Pool and beach towels are also provided so you can save on that valuable suitcase space! Daytime activities on the island include beach volleyball and various water sports, like scuba diving, jet skiing, wake boarding, fun tube rides and parasailing. As the sun goes down, grab a cocktail and enjoy the view, while you listen to some live music from the resident DJ (subject to availability).

You don't know relaxation until you've visited the Spa at Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. Not only can you have a gorgeous massage with Elemis skin products, but you can enjoy it whilst watching the sea life through the glass floors.

Transfers to the Maldives hotels are from Male International Airport via either domestic aircraft, seaplane, or speedboat. Luggage allowance varies depending on transfer type:

• Domestic aircraft (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Seaplane (20kg hold luggage and 5kg hand luggage)

• Speedboat (No luggage restrictions)

Immediately upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by either airport or hotel staff, who will escort you to your transfer departure point, and will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding transfers and timings. Please note that other flight arrivals or sudden changes in weather might mean you need to wait up to 3 hours before boarding the transfer.

If you’re travelling via seaplane, flights can only operate between 09:00 and 15:00. If you land in Male after 15:00, or if there are any sudden weather changes, you’ll need to stay overnight in an airport hotel. Don’t worry – if this is the case then we’ll be in touch to make the arrangements. It’s also worth noting that, like most holiday transfers, seaplanes will stop at multiple resorts on the way.
