Vakarufalhi, better known as Vakaru is a tropical island, fringed by white-sand beaches and tucked away in a blue lagoon. The resort exists in harmony with the island, featuring traditional Maldivian buildings and shaded by swaying palm trees.

Vakarufalhi offers a selection of modern, comfortable villas to suit your preferences, all with open-air bathrooms and private verandas. Choose from Beach Villas, located on the shore, Garden Villas, hidden away in the trees, or Water Villas, that sit atop the lagoon. All rooms include air-conditioning, 42" TV, digital safe, hairdryer, mini bar, and an espresso coffee machine with additional tea making facilities as standard.

Food & Drink

Vakarufalhi, Maldives features a Malidivian style, thatched roof restaurant, Ilaa, serving international buffet-style dishes. For snacks during the day, you can head to The Ihaa Bar, which serves light bites and refreshing drinks, al fresco. Or for a truly memorable experience, the culinary team at Vakarufalhi will arrange a private dinner for you at one of several secluded, stunning locations on the island (extra charge).

The resort's Duniye Spa is the perfect place for a relaxing massage, with couples treatment rooms and a steam room on offer, the spa takes a holistic approach towards health and well-being, using only natural ingredients to nourish your skin. There is always something to do on the island, with weekly entertainment, including “Bodu Beru” cultural dance shows and movies under the stars. There are also plenty of water sports to try your hand at, such as kayaking, windsurfing or taking a PADI-certified scuba diving course.
