Hotel Highlights
The writing's on the wall, or in this case, in the name; When it comes to location it does not get more central than this, a few steps away from the San Marco Square!
Brekkie - sorted, fuel up at the generous continental buffet and maybe pack a few pastries for the road!
Get a healthy dose of culture while you stay in this converted 17th century palace! And no - its not haunted! We checked!
Location
After baggage collection from the Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) is where your journey begins to get interesting! A 15 minute drive will get you to the Piazzale Roma docking point, and as no cars can venture any further, you swap wheels for either a water taxi or vaporetto and glide on over to the San Marco stop, which is a 5 minute walk away to the hotel!
Hint: It's in the name - The hotel overlooks the San Marco Piazza and in the words of the owners themselves, you are "one step away". The only thing in between the square and hotel is a single bridge, which is quite handy considering Venice is 85% water!
Once you have exhausted the sights of saint mark's square, or, in this case, just your neighbourhood - the second hottest spot is only a 5 minute walk away! Ponte di Rialto which if you haven't taken a picture at then you've not even visited Venice. While you're there there's its surrounding world famous fruit and fish markets for you to have a meander at as well!

The rooms all echo a past era lavish Venetian opulence remixed with all the modern amenities of a 4* city escape hotel to offer you the dreamiest and comfiest home away from home stay! Pick from classic, superior or suite and don't worry, irrespective of which one you go for, all rooms are fitted with:
FREE Wi-Fi
Daily Housekeeping
Flat-screen T.V.

Safety box
Food & Drink
Breakfast - Don't worry, we wouldn't leave you hanging and neither would the hotel! Get stuck into the generous continental brekkie buffet set up daily till 10:30 offering up the much loved suspects to get you fuelled up and ready for the day!
Sports & Entertainment
Biblioteca Marciana - Calling all bookworms! This grand (enormous) palladium is one of the earliest surviving public libraries in the world while also holding the one of the most significant collections of classic texts globally! If books aren't your bag don't worry - the grand halls, muraled arched ceilings and the vast array of paintings, sculptures and works on display are bound to get a few wooaahh's out of you!
Caffè Florian - Overlooking the san Marco square and the grand Bibliotheca Marciana, we recommend this café for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up and a trip back in time. The café has been operational since 1720 so its safe to say they have mastered the art of afternoon tea. With a wide depository of Italian coffees and teas as well as small plates to provide an experience fit for royalty!
