Location

• The flight isn't too long and thankfully neither will the drive be, from Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) to the hotel its a scenic 25 minute ride! Or if you're flying into Pisa Airport (may as well have a mooch around the Leaning Tower while you're there!) it's a 1-hour and 14-minute drive away

• You'll be right in the centre of Florence, with Arno river views and only a few steps away from the iconic Ponte Vecchio - Step out and into the dozens of clustered jewellery shops and merchants! No better spot for souveniring in town!

• Take a sharp left before the Ponte Vecchio, walk along the riverside and in about two minutes tops you'll be in the monumental Uffizi Gallery that homes renaissance masterpieces including the most photographed nude lady in the world, Miss Venus herself!

• Don't get too exhausted now because its a 4 minute walk to Florence's main square - Piazza Della Signoria! You'll know you're in the right place when you see a strikingly large 14th century gothic palace, which would be the Palazzo Vecchio!

• Allow us to introduce you to the Lungarno dining collection - A stunning culinary showcase of Italy. These restaurants have been hand selected to represent the hotel collective and are situated around Florence each delivering a different flavour profile celebrating the culture's love for good grub and good wine!

• Borgo San Jacopo - The heavyweight champ - and with the (Michelin) star to prove it too! The restaurant offers two tasting menus curated by chef Claudio Mengoni who's approach involves sourcing the freshest, highest quality local produce in line with the seasons and allowing the flavours to speak for themselves. Would be worth mentioning that you get unmatched river views too from the mahoosive arched windows!

• Caffè dell’Oro - Do you love people watching? Do you love coffee? If so you'll likely spend hours in this charming café with al fresco tables overlooking Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli and Ponte Vecchio! The menu has been specifically crafted to adhere to your cravings at any point in the day from brekkie to after dinner dinner, with dishes on offer that are a cosmopolitan take on traditional Italian cuisine.

• Picteau Bistrot & Bar - The bar is the love child of Marco Colonnelli and Vincenzo Civita while the bistrot menu was crafted by none other than  Claudio Mengoni, with modern Mediterranean dishes to deliver the ultimate trifecta of top notch scran and delectable cocktails! This riverside spot has limited availability and few tables so make sure you reserve early on for a prime table with views of the Ponte Vecchio!

• La Terrazza - Going up? To the very top please! The place to see and be seen in Florence! This rooftop bar offers up panoramic views of the historic city from the hotel's tower. Especially recommended for a cheeky afternoon Aperol spritz whilst mingling and sightseeing from a birds-eye view while the city dresses in her gilded glory!

• The Fusion Bar & Restaurant - This one is for the fearless thrill seekers - where cuisines come to bend, meld and blur into one another to create something entirely new, limitless and exciting! The tapas menu has no shortage of unexpected picky bits to nibble on alongside one of the very instagrammable cocktails - think funky fun and fresh food, booze and tunes, rally your mates and get a little silly!
