La Ciaccia Hotel Residence

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights. We were so impressed by the owners and staff's obliging and friendly nature. Nothing was ever too much trouble.
The area is quiet and authentic. A small stroll from a lovely beach and restuarant. The pool was gorgeous and never any problem with sun beds or over crowding. 
This area is simply superb. Nearly 100% Italian speaking, encouraging tourists to engage with the language in so far as possible. My husband and I throughly enjoyed our stay in Aima and family's hotel and have no doubt will visit again.

Idyllic Stay in Sardina

Nice hotel, a bit tired. Would be nice a refurbishment and improve the clean.  Far from the trips, need to rent a car. The restaurant is fantastic, best pizza. Best pasta. There’s a cafe near too, very nice . There’s a supermarket facing the hotel, helpfull.

Unable to make comment on the actual hotel, however, the ATM that they host has very poor exchange rates.  For example at another ATM in the area, just a day earlier, €100 cost me £89.71 inc service charge.  At this hotel's ATM the same withdrawal of €100 cost me £104.38.

Beware of cash machine exchange rate!

This was to be our first taste of authentic sardinian pizza so we ordered a variety to take back.

The restaurant looks amazing but with young kids it was just too late to have an evening meal out.

Firstly the bartender was so friendly and helpful. He deserves 5 stars!

The same cannot be said for the waitress in the restaurant.  No smiles just a sour face. Not sure if that was just her or because we didn't speak Italian.

We got the pizza 30 mins after ordering and for 3 decent sized pizzas it seemed really good value for money. Unfortunately when we got back the pizzas were really disappointing. The Base was lovely but the topping was too salty. Whether it was the cheese or the sauce what made it salty I don't know but my kids didn't enjoy it at all.
