Location

• A cheeky private beach? Oh gu’ on then! With continuous trains shuttling back and forth from the hotel, you’ll be topping up the tan on Beach Riva Marina before you can say sandcastle!

• Nearby Salento Airport is a neat and petite 20-minute drive away, you’ll be living your best life before an episode of Corrie’s even had a chance to finish.

• The town of Specchiolla is only a 4-minute drive away if you want to sample some of the local yumminess, have a lil’ shopping spree, or you want say, same sand, different beach.

Rooms

• With splashes of colour, comfort levels at maximum, and some all-important bits and bobs tying them together with a cute, lil’ bow, there are 2 room types available, the Comfort Room that can sleep between 2 and 6 people, and the Suite which can sleep between 2 and 5 people.

• All rooms are decked out with the following:

  • Balcony or veranda (to snatch up those last few minutes of sunshine!)

Food & Drink

• Restaurant Riva Marina Resort - boasting 4 elegant dining rooms, you’ll feel the height of sophistication, even in your flip-flops as you tuck into your hand-picked buffet-style din-dins, from starters to sides, pasta to pizza, grapes to ganache, this place has it all. There’s even a beach restaurant open for cold buffet food at lunch (reservation required, no extra charge)

• Il Pugliese - offering up a traditional Puglian menu, this unique spot is situated on a 1st-floor terrace, so you can dine with a GORGE view and make all your friends well jel, (Bookable and subject to availability).

• All-Inclusive - so much on offer with this one, *deep breath*, full-board, buffet style, how we like it, Mediterranean dishes inspired by Puglian tradition, snazzy, drinks included with an open bar, the good stuff, the bar also serves light breakfast (from 9:30-11:30) and sweet and savoury snacks. There's also fruit if you’re minding your hips, pizza if you aren’t AND chef’s appetisers and tea is served with sweet pastries.

Sports & Entertainment

• Swimming - we know that feeling that cool water on your tippy-toes is a top-tier holiday experience, so you won’t be able to resist the lagoon pool on-site, or the nearby Beach Riva Marina just a zip of a train ride away.

• Entertainment - mini club (ages 4-13) and the junior club (13+) will keep the little tykes and big kids entertained all day long, there's even activities for the grown-ups too like beach events, games with prizes, and evening shows.

• Sports Facilities - we aren’t the sporty types per se, but this selection has made a Mo Farrah out of us… 2 tennis courts, a 5-a-side football field, multipurpose basketball/volleyball court, archery and a jogging path in the pinewood, canoes, windsurfing, sailing… and don't worry there are basic sailing lessons on offer if you’re feeling a bit nervy, (extra charges may apply).

• Play Garden - a sprawling playground suitable for everyone from toddlers to teens, a number of different play areas with climbing frames, slides, hidden tunnels and even a labyrinth maze and an 8-hole mini-golf course, we’re lost in the maze btw, help!

• Wellness Centre - taking rest and relaxation to a whole ‘nother level! Massages, facials, a beauty treatment room, a hair stylist, a fitness room, a heated pool with hydro massage, a sauna, emotional showers (you can cry here if you want, but we’ve been informed this means the temperature changes intentionally and makes you feel all at one with nature).
