Balcony Boutique Hotel

Loved my stay here - The staff here were amazing, so friendly and couldn't do enough for you.  The room was great with amazing views over the bay, good air conditioning and lovely balcony.  Breakfast was fab, huge selection and again great views from the breakfast area.  Nice and relaxed part of town, close to the beaches and some great restaurants there were off the main strip so a bit more relaxed.  Would recommend here for the staff and location only, but everything together made this an A++++ stay  Can't wait to go back

Brilliant relaxing stay

The hotel is nice, the rooms clean, tidy and comfortable. The view from the balcony was superb.
The staff could not do enough for us, very helpful recommending places to go to visit and to eat.
Breakfast comprehensive, fresh and a good choice (yoghurt and honey is always a winner).
Beach towels provided clean everyday, we used a nearby beach which we happily paid for sunbeds, as there was waiter service, and you could guarantee you could keep it all day, without issue.
The area is beautiful we did a boat trip and another day hired a quad bike, which enabled us to travel around the island.
The hotel is up a hill, and a 20 min walk into town, we are active and enjoyed this, but it may not be for everyone. There is no pool, nor sunbeds at the hotel, but, we knew this and it was not a problem for us.
One lovely point, is it is a child free hotel, so no screaming beasts ruining your breakfast.
Will definitely return to the island, its is beautiful, and wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Balcony Hotel again.
If a pool, nightlife and you can't walk up hills, stay somewhere else rather than leave a negative review about no pool, hilly etc, the Hotel certainly does not deserve that

I stayed here the evening before my Wedding with my Mam, then the evening of my wedding with my new husband.

This hotel is fantastic! The staff made me feel like a princess, nothing was too much trouble.

So close to Tsilivi but as soon as you’re at the balcony you feel miles away from the rest of the world, so peaceful and calm! 

I’d recommend all Balcony brides to stay here. The room for getting ready was fab and spacious with a jacuzzi bath. It was great having the room there for make up touch ups, or outfit changes etc!

DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. MOST DISGUSTING AND UNHYGIENIC EXPERIENCE IVE HAD. 

Have been on many budget holidays and have never had such a poor experience starting off with hygiene. Dead and alive flies were found on all surfaces including areas where toothbrushes and soap was expected to of been kept . Silver fish bigs were found crawling in my luggage and around all the floors, had to throw away clothes and wash clothing a good few times to prevent any spread when returning. Aside from bugs floor was ridiculously sticky and dirty and when cleaned for 30 seconds the water seen on the bucket was filled with dirt, completely black.floor was so bad I had to keep shoes on at all times to avoid touching the floors.

As of hygiene could not have been any worst, old blood was found on my 1 and shallow pillow. Bed sheets were asleep thin and dirty, resorted to using a sarong to keep myself warm at night.HOTEL IS IN NEED OF INSPECTION as a complete BIO HAZARD even after moving room a number of times.

As if I could not have been worst new towels were given to us in the morning ti which vomit was found covered within them.

Moving on to practicality. Door would not unlock properly, spent15 minutiae on each occasion trying to open doors with an old lock. Had to repeat to walking down to reception on most occasions to get doors open. Curtains were ripped and mirrors were disgusting. Toilet would also not flush on most occasions had to consistently have staff up to fix their disgusting and broken toilets. 

Location is okay but down dark ally’s to get to. Does not seem safe at night especially when drinking, would recommend staying at any of the other 100s of locations in the similar areas which would be almost satisfactory.

Staff were completely rude. Not accommodations at all and did not seem interested in any of their isssues presented. Have never had such bad service.

Also have to pay 50 euro deposit upon arrival to which I did not receive back until 4 weeks after leaving. 

This hotel is completely poor and should be shut down immediately.
