I have just got back from an absolutely wonderful holiday at Golden Sand Samos. The location was perfect for the chilled out relaxing break that my husband and I wanted. The beautiful apartments are set on a hill overlooking a wonderful beach. Outside our apartment there were beautiful hibiscus, lemon, and almond trees a grapevine and other beautiful shrubs and plants,this is a really beautiful place to sit with a glass of wine if you didn't want to go on the beach or by the poo or the hotel restaurant and bar. Maria runs the hotel and is one of the most friendliest and helpful people I have ever met, in fact all of the staff were wonderful and so happy. They all go the extra mile and nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is really close to a couple of resturants including the wonderful Paris restaurant and if we needed plenty more bars and restaurants the nearest town is 2.5 km away and costs 6 Euros by taxi, however if Maria isn't too busy she will drop you off there herself. I would definitely recommend staying at Golden Sand it was fabulous. 

Great location and wonderful staff

We went here in 2014 sept. No mass tourism, excellent service and hospitality! The staff is very friendly and will do everything to give you a great and relaxed holiday. Beautiful surrounding and easily to explore by car or bike.

i first went in 2009 in june and then in september 2010, the hotel is small, the rooms with sea view are great, the rooms with mountain view are good for rest, the beach after the bar. the personal is great, the owners (sofia and ioannis) are always there and very helpful. the bar is super, the nights music awesome. every day room cleaning, great team, no pay for beachbeds.

Net twee weken in het hotel Golden Sand verbleven. Het appartement was schoon, elke dag wordt er schoon gemaakt en de prullenbakken geleegd. 
De WIFI was niet in orde, het hotel had hier zelf ook last van. De 4G in het gebied heeft ook een slecht bereik. 
Het ontbijt was goed, maar eenzijdig. Twee weken lang hetzelfde, we hebben zelf wat ander beleg gekocht, crackers en beschuiten.
Voor de airco moet €8,00 per dag worden bij betaald.
Het strand loop je zo op. Er zijn twee zwembaden, het zwembad bij het nieuwe gebouw was bijna een privé zwembad. Dus je hoeft niet te rennen voor een bedje.
Verder was het lekker rustig op het eiland.
