Blue Sea Island Resort

Overview

We love a resort that says exactly what it is, and 'Blue Sea Island' just about sums this place up. It's got pools for dunking into, a waterpark that the kids can splash about in, and it's right along its own private beach, which is the cherry on the cake. Or, you know, the tzatziki on top of the gyros. Speaking of food, this hotel's got it all, with pizza, pasta, ice cream and a kids' corner, so even the pickiest eaters in your fam will have enough to pile their plate with.

Food & Drink

• Main buffet restaurant - open for breakfast, lunch and dinner to satisfy your cravings for Greek (or international) food. Either way, we can promise there'll be feta. Lots of it.

Smart-casual shorts are allowed, so no need to pack your trousers, gents!

• Elliniko a’ la carte restaurant - proper Greek food in a proper Greek restaurant - open for dinner three times per week (reservation required, one FREE visit per stay)

• Food Court - a little bit of everything in one place, with a Greek corner (obviously) for your gyros, a Pizza & Pasta corner if you just can't shake that craving for a good ol' margherita, a Gelateria corner for sweet treats and ice cream, and a Healthy Bar, for fresh fruit and salad.

• Main bar - cocktails, soft drinks, local beer and some local classics - like Ouzo

• Waterpark pool bar - treat yourself to a post-swim snack or a refreshing drink

• Beach bar - enjoy cocktails and soft drinks right along the seafront

• Afternoon tea - available from 17:00 - 18:00

Sports & Entertainment

• 2 outdoor pools - one at the main building and one at the annex, so wherever you're staying, you've always got easy access to a pool to dunk into, and sunbeds to lounge on

• Waterpark pool (annex building) - the kids will have a field day here, with curly slides, splash buckets and climbing frames

• Kids' pool (annex building) - this pool's just big enough for the little ones to paddle in

• Kids' club - open daily from 10:00 - 12:00 and 15:00 - 17:00, so you don't have to worry about the youngsters getting bored throughout the day

• Tons of activities - you can try your hand at tennis, darts, water polo, table tennis or even watersports at the beach (extra charge), like banana boating

• Gym - if the Greek sun doesn't have you working up enough of a sweat, you can hit the gym for a workout that's more your style

• Spa & wellness - treat yourself to a massage (extra charge), or simply hit the saunas or go for a dip in the Jacuzzi or indoor pool for a bit of R&R
