Fantastic Hotel and service, right on the sea. The rooms had a good AC unit, but also small balconies and an upward opening window that kept the room from getting too hot in the summer sun. Bed's are a bit stiff but not enough to disrupt sleep.

The bathroom was a bit small, but functional (there were times I'd accidentally splash the toilet from the shower), and when we requested extra towels they were provided immediately. 

The food selection was fantastic, the breakfasts were more then enough to keep us going through midday, and the sandwich options were equally good. Prices were reasonable and comparable to any restaurant in Filiatra.

This was our first visit to Greece and we tried to walk to Filiatra a few times. I do not recommend it. But the hotel staff was very helpful in arranging taxis to nearby towns and even helped negotiate the prices as our Greek skills were non-existent. 

The Staff in particular were fantastic. Everyone apologized for their "poor" English, but we never had a conversation where we were misunderstood. Everyone was very friendly and willing to be patient as we tried to explain ourselves with a little help from Google Translate.

Good Basing Point for Western Messina

Very nice hotel with amazing view. The room was a bit old,especially the floor but I have no other bad thing to say. The swimming pool was huge and very clean, breakfast was very nice and the stuff was extremely polite. Overall very nice experience!

Money well spent

It is the second time we visit this hotel and the difference from the previous visit made me spend time for this review. The hotel has changed its cleaning policy using COVID-19 as a pretext. We stayed in total for 4 days and to be able to get fresh towels or getting your room cleaned you should book an appointment a day before ( supposedly for safety reason but I am sure the owner want to spend less money on wages  and material ) and even though we tried to get this service we didn’t get it even after asking for it repeatedly they even  bland us that it was our fault for that. The owner was rude and ironic, as an example we complained to him that we need to lower the external tent for extra shade and he laughed at our faces that he will take care of it ( he didn’t of course ) because as he said the drapes the room has offer complete black out, in the pictures you will see the " total black out ". The staff, even though was polite and kind to the guests were untrained and it was obvious they had little idea of working at a hotel. I don’t blame them for that it is obvious the owner wants to save money from hiring professionals and offering better service to the customers. In total I can rate the experience as very disappointing, for sure me and our friends and family will never use again this facility. In case you visit the area I recommend using a different hotel.

Very disappointing experience

Flying into Kalamata, we rented a car from the airport and drove 1 hour to get to Limenari Hotel. Despite arriving at past 9pm, we were greeted with a lovely smile, and shown to our room. 
The room was basic but had everything you need - a fridge, balcony, shower and toilet, air conditioning, and suitable storage spaces. The bathroom is what I would call a “wet room”, so any towels that are left on the floor become soaked. However, this isn’t an issue as he towels are changed daily.
The breakfast facilities are great, and the fresh watermelon cannot be missed! The staff were very good at filling water bottles for us also before we headed out. The lunch menu is small, but the food is classic Greek cuisine, and there are a wide range of hot and cold drinks. 
Because we had the car, we had the ability to visit the nearby beaches and towns, such as Gialova and Pylos, which I would highly recommend visiting if you have a car. If you stay at this hotel without a car, there’s not really much you can do as there’s no public transport and only a shuttle bus to be airport. 
For those who are adventurous and love driving and exploring areas, I would recommend this hotel to stay in. The surrounding roads aren’t too busy, the pool is lovely, and there’s a nearby lagoon-type pool by the jetty.
