• Paralia Marmari beach is only a short five minute walk away, basically like popping to the local shops, but here there's gorgeous sand and all that sea to splash about in!

• Kos International Airport is just a 16-minute drive away, forget about a hefty transfer time, you'll be there before you've had chance to ask what time the cabbies on til!

• Swimming - a paddlers paradise with 3 outdoor pools, and if thrill seeking is more your speed, one of the pools comes complete with waterslides... don't worry, there's plenty of space to sunbathe too, here's looking at you mum!

• Sports - plenty to get stuck into including tennis, table-tennis, basketball, mini-football and beach volleyball

• Fitness - there's never a bad time to get some much needed fitness in, even on a sunny summer jolly, so head down to the on-site gym or make full use of the yoga area

• The Kid's Club has plenty going on for the younguns with activities and games aplenty, and if you've got any teens in tow, there's a lounge space just for them too and a gamecentre as the cherry on top!
