Great location, literally around the corner from the beach, basic rooms but it is a 2 star, but no complaints, cleaned daily, plenty of hangers, lots of storage space for clothes, took a while for the shower to get hot. the only issue we had with the room was one the windows had no curtain, bright sunlight coming in early in the morning. We didn't use the pool, but it looked nice & lots of sunloungers. We did breakfast 1 day only, it was OK but we went to the Kefalos super market every day for a pastry & coffee & eat on our sun loungers on the beach. We didn't use the bar area, but it seemed to be busy & lots of people around it. Very small & quiet resort. Best restaurant for us was Captain Johns. Overall good holiday.

Location was perfect

Had a great stay again, Yannis the owner sorted out a problem immediately. Tony the barman was brilliant as ever. I enjoy the breakfast there . The  the girls are friendly and our cleaner went out of her way to make our holiday better coming in daily. Reception staff were also lovely. Hope to go again next year.

I love this hotel and have just returned after 3 fabulous weeks.
Its had a lot of bad press in its reviews but just give it a chance.
The owner Yannis is so proud and protective over his hotel and works so hard looking after it, he's up very early and goes to bed late, this year he was also running the pool bar and he's 85yrs young.
The rooms are clean and tidy, they're cleaned daily with changes of bedding and towels regularly,the cleaners work very hard there's 3 at the minute and are lovely very friendly and helpful, there's plenty of hanging space and cupboards, there's a hairdryer,flatscreen tv,fridge, no kettle so I always take a travel one,the bathrooms have had a major overhaul and is lovely more a wet room than bathroom , as it can get very wet I was advised to take a squeegee thing to push the water down the drain vent which was very helpful I bought mine from Temu for £1.20 .
The breakfast is continental style eggs, bread, yoghurt, tea , coffee etc if you like strong coffee id take your own, there's plenty and is constantly refilled.
The pool area has plenty of sunbeds and is clean , the pool itself is large cool and clean with steps at both sides, the pool bar serves light snacks, ice cream and drinks all at reasonable prices. 
The reception has a book case where you can borrow books from or leave any you don't want ,the bar area can get busy in the evening and its been called "cliquey " but its not its just returning guests who have got to know each other over the years and have become friends,just grab a stool order a drink alcoholic or otherwise say "hi" and join in you'll soon feel at home, Tony who runs the bar is friendly very funny and remembers everyone's name. 
The hotel has a huge car park and is close to all the amenities Kefalos has to offer eg: beach, tavernas,bus stop , chemist, supermarket, quad/car rental. 
I shall be back again next year for 3wks and can't wait .
I've always found everyone to be extremely friendly and helpful and I've made lifelong friends.

Another great holiday

Had a fantastic 11 nights there tony the barman was brilliant. Yani the boss lovely man.the cleaners were fantastic. Going back nxt year August 13 11 nights.tony if you see this can we have same room number 4 or 6 please. Toty angie from middlesbrough. Ouzo lemonade. White wine at the ready please
