The Creta Royal offers 122 (two-bed or three-bed) elegantly furnished rooms distributed amongst 4 two-storey buildings, all of the rooms have impressively elegant interior design and equipped with air conditioning, minibar filled with beer, water, soft drinks and a bottle of house wine, satellite television, direct dial telephone, bathroom including a bath tub, hair dyer, complimentary toiletries and telephone, refrigerator and a furnished balcony or terrace offering a direct or side view to the sea or the Cretan mountains.

Food & Drink

Within the hotel, guests can enjoy the central restaurant, with its magnificent garden, breakfast is provided in a pleasant and cool environment. Guests are offered both, Greek or international cuisine. The Mistral restaurant serves traditional Greek cuisine and exquisite Greek wines and overlooks the hotels beach, guests can enjoy an American-style buffet breakfast to start their day. Guests can choose to enjoy a wide range of refreshments (local wine, draught beer, coca cola, soft drinks, local spirits and mineral water) served in the lobby bar (open from, 18:00 until 01:00), situated with a view to the pool, sea and beautiful gardens, and has a pianist during the evenings. The poolside snack bar (open from 10:00 until 18:00) is located alongside the hotels large pool, in the garden, in front of the main building, where guests can refresh with ices, sodas, coffee and ice-creams after endless hours of lounging by the pool and sunbathing. The beach bar (open from 10:00 until 18:00) also offers a wide variety to all of its guests. Guests may also enjoy various themes evening organized by the hotel on a daily basis such as poolside barbecue, Cretan night with live folk music and traditional dances, gala diner, fish-tasting nights, piano evenings at the main bar etc.

Sports & Entertainment

Sports and leisure activities at the Creta Royal include two outdoor swimming pools, one filled with sea water and the other with fresh tap water, gymnasium with sauna and jacuzzi. The adjacent Creta star hotel has an indoor heated fresh-water pool.  A specially trained recreation group with a daily recreation program, in a safe and responsible manner, two tennis courts (guests may obtain the necessary equipment at the reception), mini-golf, mini-basket, beach volley which are available for use to guests of its neighbouring hotel, the poolside area is equipped with sun-beds, parasols and coffee tables. The hotel has a 400-m private sandy beach, equipped with sun-beds and umbrellas (offered at an extra charge).

The Creta Royal offers 24 hour reception service, foreign currency exchange, excursions, mailing and courier services, short term luggage storage, wake up calls, regional information, facsimilie, photocopy and printing services, medical care, car rental, jewelley store, souvenir shop, mini market, laundry, ironing, dry cleaning, internet corner, various theme evenings organized by the hotel on a daily basis, such as a poolside barbecue, Cretan night with live folk music and traditional dances, gala dinners, fish-tasting nights, piano evenings at the main bar

Upon arrival, hotel guests are handed special cards at the reception desk (after paying a guarantee amount locally) which can be exchanged for pool and beach towels. A lifeguard service is also available on the beach. Located 5 km away, the Creta Panorama provides guests with the equipment for motorised water sports (its transportation to and from the Creta Royal is included in the rental price).
