The 22 spacious, light filled studios and apartments of Villa Mare Monte secure all the charm of a romantic getaway. The interior of the apartments is tastefully decorated and well equipped, providing all modern comforts and amenities.

All studios and apartments have a private balcony or terrace that look out on the sea or on our garden with swimming pool. Bed linen change (twice a week), For all your needs and questions you can turn to your hosts George and Koula, or to a member of our friendly and capable staff. Air conditioning and safety deposit boxes are available for an extra charge.

Food & Drink

Large beautiful outdoor pool located in the centre of the complex featuring a sun terrace, complimented by the poolside bar and plenty of loungers and parasols for hire. Guests staying at the Villa Mare Monte are invited to use the self-catering facilities if they wish for a more convenient holiday, the nearest supermarket for supplies can be found 700m away.

Those looking for an alternative to self-catering may visit the restaurant onsite that is available for breakfast and dinner (payable locally) or you could simply visit the nearby town of Malia and explore the many restaurants and bars nearby.

It is also definitely worth mentioning that each week the Villa Mare Monte hosts a special BBQ event, which all guests are invited to join. Where for a small fee can enjoy almost all you eat of delicious salads and BBQ meat.

There is also the poolside bar that makes for a good place to buy cocktails and other refreshing drinks as well as light meals.

Sports & Entertainment

Guests can choose to have a swim in the clear blue sea of Malia or Stalis, or in Villa Mare Monte's gorgeous swimming pool. A shaded patio, levelled sun terrace and extended flowery gardens provide charming areas to relax and unwind, perhaps indulging in a drink or refreshment from our pool snack bar.

In the evenings, our pool bar area turns into a laid back lounge area where guests can enjoy dinner in a romantic atmosphere with carefully selected music playing on the background.

Families and children are also well catered for with children's cots available on request and a large playground area, or if you are looking to relax inside then there is the poolside bar.
