Distance from Airport

This hotel is located 102km from Heraklion Airport and 250km from Chania Airport. Koutsounari is the nearest town and has mini markets, restaurants, pharmacy, ATM, doctor, hairdresser.

Rooms

Sunshine Crete Beach offers a total of 219 rooms. You can choose from a wide selection of room types, featuring suites, double rooms & bungalows as well as plenty of family rooms. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning between 01/06-30/09.  You will also find an en-suite bathroom, hairdryer, air conditioning, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Wi-Fi access (against payment), mini fridge, safe and a furnished balcony or terrace.

Food & Drink

The main Dionissos Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in buffet style, and offers light breakfasts, hot and cold lunch buffet, kids´ corner with special meals, evening feasts for dinner and theme nights. Serving times are as follows:

Breakfast: 07:00-10:00

Lunch: 12:30 – 14:30

Tea and Coffee (at Poseidon Main Bar): 17:00-18:00

Dinner: 19:00-21:30

You can also enjoy a late breakfast in the Aphrodite Relax Pool bar (between 19:00 and 11:00) and tea and coffee (between 17:00 and 18:00), and snacks in the Thalassa Beach bar. The Poseidon Main Bar is open late and serves a range of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages until midnight each night.

Extra charge for branded alcohol, wine, Champagne, as well as milkshakes, fresh fruit juice, barista coffees.

The All Inclusive program also offers a free meal at the nearby Mamma Mia restaurant serving Italian specialties. Please note that this meal requires reservations and is subject to availability.

Sports & Entertainment

The hotel boasts two outdoor swimming pools. One is purely for relaxing, and has its own area for kids. The other has activities and two water slides your kids will love. You’ll also find a large sun terrace, open-air gym, Jacuzzi and small water park. Activities offered include diving and canoeing, tennis or table tennis and 5x5 football game, aqua aerobics, water polo and backgammon tournaments. There's also a spa center offering relaxing massage treatments (additional charge), a lounges and a TV area.

The hotel organises Greek dancing lessons, shows, musicals and disco. On a daily basis the qualified and talented animation team engages guests in fun games. There is also a kids club with a full programme of activities, indoor and outdoor play areas, play grounds, children’s’ pools and water slides.

Watersports are available through a third party supplier (additional charge) and offers; Windsurfing, parasailing, water ski & lessons, banana, wake board & lessons, sofa, jet ski, flyer etc.
