Alexander House Hotel is a four star hotel built and run by the Alexandrakis family for over twenty years. The family hotel aims to offer a personal service and to illustrate the true spirit of Cretan hospitality.

Our hotel has 96 fully furnished rooms which comprise of family rooms and double rooms. All rooms are air conditioned and are equipped with the following:

We also offer a Wi-Fi service, a fitness room and a mini club at specific times of the day. Table tennis, billiards and table football.

Food & Drink

Restaurant

Alexander House Hotel restaurant has a veranda area for smokers as well as beautiful views of the mountains surrounding Aghia Pelagia. Food is served in buffet form three times a day by our skilled staff.

The evening buffet offers a range of meat and fish dishes as well as salads and a selection of international cheeses.

A la carte wine is also available on request. Our baker freshly makes our brown and white bread everyday and the range of desserts are all freshly made in-house.

Bar

Alexander House Hotel opens the snack bar from 10 am until 6 pm throughout the day and at 6pm the summer garden bar opens until 1 am.

Throughout the day a la carte menus are available for espresso and cappuccinos as well as various snacks. The evening bar offers all local drinks on an all inclusive basis. The bar also offers and fantastic calpirinias and mojhitos on an a la carte basis.

All this while looking at the stunning views of the gulf of Aghia Pelagia.

Sports & Entertainment

The hotel comprises of a large fresh water swimming pool with a separate shallow area for children. Sun beds and umbrellas are all available at the swimming pool and the Beach. Beach towels are available at the reception. Sun beds and umbrellas are available on the beach, independent of the hotel and at a cost of 6 Euros per day.

From June to September  for a minimal  fee we offer a spectacular Cretan evenings. A three hour show accompanied by further Cretan specialities.

We hire in a local team of dancers who will entertain you with traditional dances from all over Greece. Our guests are also invited to dance and by the end of the night you will feel like you have been to a local village in the mountains of crete.

This is a truly spectacular show which take our guests back to traditional times.
